Overall good figure

For what it is, it is very good. It’s only issue is, that at this point, is being somewhat dated. This is very noticeable in the articulation, specifically the feet. They are a solid piece of plastic, and this hinders poseability

Its pretty cool

Its a good figure, i get the complaints of the other reviewers initially, but I think it's better then they give it cred. All I can complain about is the shooting front skirt when you do a kneeling pose, the gm rifle bending the hand when you put it in cause they didn't give an angled hand for the gun, limited poseability, and finally, the backpack connector not having a replacement part as it is pretty easy to break accidentally

Articulate and accurate

This pre-made figure was fun to customize with its articulation in posing and utilization of its accessories. This will make an interesting diorama piece.

this was one of my most highly expected mobile suit design in a long time. when it finally came out, i was very disappointed. i thought robot spirits always hot the mark with its articulation with every year and improvement. apparently, they took a few steps back. the design it there, but it feels lacking. there is minimal paint apps as we have always seen in this line, but now in articulation as well. this feels almost lie a MSIA 2.0. this GM comes with alot of stuff, but its just too much clutter. the money should have gone to making the feel and engineering to this favorite better. im not recommending this product.

決定版

可動やギミックについては概ね既存のVer.ANIMEシリーズと同様です。細かいバーニア類の塗装省略もなく質感も良いです。万人のイメージするジムカスタムのアクションフィギュアとしては決定版といって良いと思います。細かな不満というか難癖かもしれませんが、本製品に限らず設定や劇中でもみられないようなシールドや武器のアタッチメントは個人的にはそんなに欲しくないですし、中途半端なバーニアや使い回しのエフェクトパーツは正直もうおなかいっぱい。そんなものより武器にあった適切なエフェクトを付けるか少しでも価格を下げて欲しいと思います（マシンガン用エフェクトの出し惜しみはあからさま）。そろそろ見栄えや使い勝手の良い新エフェクトなんか欲しいですね。

このカスタムなら良い

待望のROBOT魂、オーガスタ系少数量産機→エース機体のジム・カスタム。HGUC版と比べるなら、異様だった上半身と下半身のバランスが修正され、人型兵器としてより人間寄りの骨格＆頭身バランスとなった（結果HGUCよりも兵器感がやや増し：カトキ股間も控えめに）。正面間近から捉える感想としては、ROBOT魂の中でも情報量と質感は上位（個体差でハズレもあるかもしれないが）。ポージング性能はジム改やパワードジムと同等。整形色の恩恵という事か、ROBOT魂としてはバリが比較的目立たない。ポロリ云々レビューもあるが、手持ちの物で言うなら特にそんな印象はない（整形歪みも確認できず）。敢えて難を言うなら、胸部は前反り可能だが後反りができない（昨今の他ROBOT魂と同様）。シールドは特徴的な肩形状に干渉するので取り付け方＆ポージングは意外と限定的（シールドの上部マウントは外したが良いかと）。尺があるライフルもお約束としてポージングは限定的。結果してブルパップが主力になってしまう罠も。ジム・スナイパーカスタムやジム・コマンド系の設計を取り入れた機体とされているが、ROBOT魂シリーズとしてジム・スナイパーカスタムやジム・コマンド系の他、ジムやジム・キャノン、ジム改系（パワードジム含む）、ジム・キャノンII（ジム・カスタム系）と実視で並べると、ジム・カスタムがどういう立ち位置かを視認する事ができる。またある程度シリーズを揃えていればエフェクトや兵装はほぼ転用可能なのでディスプレイネタには困る事はないはず。細かいジム系譜をつついていけば当面発売ネタに困る事はないと思うが、個人的にはジェガンやネモ辺りをそろそろ出して欲しいなあと。

ジムの系譜は面白い…

大河原版ジム(初代)、出渕版ジム(0080)、カトキ版ジム(0083)のモブ役の一般機と準主役の高性能機版が出揃い、ジムのメインストリームが出揃った感がありますね。ほっそりした出渕版のジムとは異なり太ましい脚となり、カトキ版の特色を色濃く打ち出した仕上がりになってます。これはこれで大好きです。ＭＧとは異なりアニメーション当時の最善と思われたディテールのフォルムで再現しているので、後付けの(今や公式の)オーガスタ設定とかに引っ張られていない映える立体化が良いですね(要はバックパックの造形以外はNT1に引っ張られていないと言う意味で)。さすがはANIME版です。ジムスナイパーⅡと並んでジムカスタムは自分の中では最高のジム。だからこそ最高の出来を期待してました。スナイパーⅡではあちゃーと思わせたアゴの分割線もちゃんと解消されています。一部の隙も無いです。アゴ以外はスナイパーⅡもイケているのでカスタムと並べて頂くとおもしろいです。両方ともジム(の派生機)なのにまるで別機。基本の関節構造は共通でも、特に腹部～腰部はまるで別物。腕の構成も相当違います。そこを始めとしたプロポーションもまるで別物です。顔は良く似ていますが、表現はかなり違うので趣深いですよ？カスタムの次はクゥエルですかね。これをベースにヘイルズやケストレルを作ってみるのも楽しそうです。それともジムIIになるんですかね…。ジムIIだと藤田版扱いですかね？(それとも大河原版？)

やや線の細いジムカスタム

可動域は良好です。ですが、関節が柔らかすぎて固定にやや困ります。デザインはジムカスタムにしては線が細いです。エフェクトパーツは要らないので価格を下げて欲しいですね。（プレ値がつかないように）
