Great File Cabinet

For the most part it was easy to make. I had trouble with separating the slider to attach to the drawer. Much nicer than I thought it would be.

Poor instructions, terrible drawer glides

This was exactly the aesthetic I was looking for in a filing cabinet and I am very capable at assembling furniture so I was really excited about this piece! Unfortunately, the instructions were not clear. It took me hours to decipher only to have the drawer glides not reconnect properly when I finished the bottom drawer. And now I have a fully assembled, non-opening filing cabinet. Would not recommend.

Beautiful product, if a little complicated to assemble

I got a new desk and lost some of my hard file storage. So this works perfectly for that and doubles as a phone stand next to my desk. The quality is fine or the price, but the assembly is a little tricky. Assembling the box is easy, but the file drawer slide is not intuitive. Also, one of the holes in the drawer slide was too small for the screw to go through, so i had to enlarge it to 3/16" with a drill bit. After that it worked fine. But for someone with little to no mechanical inclination, that probably would have prevented the completion of the drawer assembly. Even once assembled, it is pretty tricky to get the drawer lined up for insertion. Once it is inserted, though, it works great. The matte finish on the veneer is nice and looks clean. I can only give 4 stars though, because the assembly was more difficult than it should be for such a simple cabinet.
