Good for use on non-chrome wheels
This made quick work of road crud that was baked onto the full size spare stored under my jeep. That said, it left hairline scuffs on my chrome wheel. Not worried about it due to it being a spare but I would not use it on chrome.

Shiny rims!
What can I say? These are messy. If you’re not careful you will rip them up. They will wear you out. all that being said, MY CHROME RIMS WERE NOT THIS SHINY EVEN WHEN I BOUGHT THE TRUCK NEW! Wow oh wow was it impressive what some good quality metal polish and this polisher ball can do with some time and elbow grease. As much work and as messy as it was, it was easier than trying to get those results by hand!

best there is in a unit like this.
works super well and hangs together for longer than expected. eventually it self destructs but i polished a lot of items before it did. a bit over priced though. i bought one more but ill look around. nothing wrong with it. it just doesnt last and last

Does not work well for dirty wheels
If you have slightly dirty wheels this works well. If you have heavy brake dust or build up it will fall apart on you. Within 5 mins it started coming apart.

Great product, but it will wear out - Get two
I recommend this after using it on my 60s car's chrome and aluminum. Beats the heck out of hand polishing. Just be realistic, it wears out pretty fast. So, get two.. this way you can finish the job . Yep it costs money but it has great results and makes the polishing go quickly.

Aluminum polishing on pump truck
Used to polish my wheels and side boxes while waiting on concrete trucks. Made a big difference on the neglected aluminum on a 50m pump truck. Would recommend to anyone needing to polish chrome or aluminum.

it works great
I have used this on polishing my aluminum wheels for my 05 Ford diesel pickup. If you follow the instructions enclosed it works great. Just make sure to clean it after every use, and it lasts a quite a while. polishes the rims up very nicely. SO nice in fact that I used it to polish up my aluminum truck rack. Who knew it would shine so nicely. Great buy!!!!..................T

It actually works.
You will get out what you put in. Use a good polish suitable for aluminium alloys or whatever it is you are polishing. Clean the sponge frequently to avoid putting black marks back onto your alloys. A sensible approach to adding polish, working it onto the item to be polished, wiping away excess polish with clean lint free cloths, and then washing the sponge will produce excellent results. Hopefully my before and after results of alloy wheels that are literally 50 years old will be as good an advert as can be seen anywhere. Awesome product. Keep drill speed low as advised in the instructions to prevent the sponge breaking up and losing pieces.

Quality is okay
I used this for a repair project (rejuvenating faded solar panels) so I can't comment on it's effectiveness for its intended use. That said, it worked great for my project.
