Very pretty and realistic looking

We live in the Washington DC area so the Cherry Blossoms are a big deal every year. Got this for my wife for Mother's day so we have a bit of spring around all the time. She really likes it. It sits on a sofa table in our family room and is delightful to see all the time.

Beautiful but arrived with a broken branch

It is beautiful overall but a branch came snapped from the way they shoved the tree in the box, minimal packing protection also. The plastic planter was wrapped in bubble wrap but the rest of the tree was not protected. I hot glued the broken branch back together but cannot give 5 stars for this reason

It's a Cherry Blossom Festival!

Although I enjoy plants and flowers, I'm one of those people, unfortunately, who can kill air ferns. Artificial plants are a nice alternative for me - as long as they're reasonably lifelike - and when I found this artificial bonsai cherry blossom tree on my Wish List, I was immediately intrigued because, aside from the beautiful look of it in the photograph, it reminded me of my childhood spent in Japan. But after ordering I had serious second thoughts, concerned that it would appear terribly cheap and fake. It arrived and, with these concerns in full force, I opened the package. And boy was I surprised and delighted! It's plastic, absolutely, and not silk as the heading states, but I have to say, even on close inspection, it is an incredibly beautiful piece of work and well worth the money. Every time I look at it, it transports me back to the small village in which we lived, just outside the main gate of Yakota AFB, and the annual Cherry Blossom Festival as it was held there: on a tree-lined hill under a night sky, colored lanterns everywhere and fireworks bursting overhead. The smells of fish cooking. Noodle carts. Women in bright kimonos. Water balloons tossed by children. Japanese music. So, there is certainly a personal bias for me that adds to my enjoyment of this piece, but I think anyone would be as happy to own this as I am because it really is simply beautiful.

Beautiful, but bad handling

The tree looks amazing and works great as a desk decoration or table piece. The grass does look and feel cheap, so I'd recommend putting dirt or rocks to cover it. The biggest con of this is the terrible shipping, the tree is shipped with little to no wrapping, so damage is a possibility, though mine wasn't damaged.

beautiful but beware

This tree is beautiful and looks amazing in my room. My only issue with it is the way that the seller decided to package it. I was VERY LUCKY that the tree arrived in one piece, but I was surprised to find that they did not bother to wrap the branches in any kind of protective wrapping and it had only a slight bubble wrap around the pot. I’m sure this could have easily broken in the mail as other reviewers have mentioned. So from my personal experience this tree is an amazing body and really great for the ambience of the room, but please beware of the risk in how the seller packages it as you may receive a broken one fairly easily!!

Good for the price.

I bought this just to add a little more color in my office, so it's in a spot that doesn't get a lot of light, and it is on the far end, so at first glance it looks fairly realistic, just not as much up close. Regardless, for the price, the quality is very good. There was a little over spray from what I assume was brown paint that is used on the roots and dirt, but other than that it was in decent shape when it arrived. Again it is not that much of a great item when you look at it up close, but if you're going to put it in a place where it will not be moved around a lot, it brings a subtle amount of color along with it. The look isn't for everyone, but I like it.

Blossoms chunky plastic

Thought the blossoms would be fabric or thin plastic but they’re super chunky. Looks nice from far/medium distances not great up close
