Great product for an insta-pot

I needed a product that allowed me to make sticky rice in my insta-pot, this steamer basket fits the bill. Extremely heat resistant, holes let the steam make it to the rice, and the handles make it super easy to use. I now use it for any straining needs.

Very nice steamer basket

I like to steam shrimp, scallops & lots of vegetables. Lost my old one on a trip; & was looking for the same type of silicone one for a 2qt sauce pan. All I found were for instant pots. I was worried about size, but interested in using it in my Instant pot also. Fits both perfect & the instant pot use opens up a host of very fast meals.

So much easier than cheesecloth.

I make turkey soup from backs.. They are cheap, but bony, with just enough meat. I used to wrap them in cheesecloth so that I could take out the bones... Last night I used this new strainer, in the instapot and it worked perfectly... 6 quart size, matched the pot.. The soup was great. This item arrived in one day.. and it is easy to clean.. The handles kinda fold over and there is a small snap that keeps them together.

Hard boiling eggs in an Instant Pot is fast, easy and seems to work perfectly all the time. They are also easier to peel.

Works well for non-stick pots

Purchased this as a steamer basket for our non-stick pots and it works well. I like that the handles can fasten together and stay that way if I take the pot lid off to check the food. Our previous silicone steamer basket just had handles that overlapped and they would pop apart when the pot lid was lifted off.
