Comfortable, durable, true to size
This is my second pair of these mocs. The first pair lasted six years until they were accidentally submerged in water. There are customer photos on Amazon of people with slippers which look like they survived a bomb. I cannot imagine how they get this level of wear and tear, but if you're walking mostly indoors, these are certainly durable. They are comfortable, the lining is not too stuffed and fluffy so they are breathable, sole is strong enough for ocassional walks outdoors. I'm a true 7 and they fit. For some unknown reason slipper sizing is wildly inconsistent, but that's not an issue with Old Friend. Recommended.

Sturdy plush slippers that hold up with use!
I originally received these slippers as a gift and thought they might be too small, but true to the sheepskin material they stretched out and became just right after a few weeks of wear. I wear these often at home and for long stretches as was quite happy how long they held up. The inner sheepskin soles do flatted over time, but it was easy to order replacement sheepskin insoles online and swap them out to extend their life and comfort. The part that finally gave out was the rubber outsole and I just ordered my second pair to replace my originals! I had tried other name brand slippers before and wasn't as pleased as I was with these.

Wow. Better than I hoped.
These are not twenty dollar moccasins. They are not to be compared to twenty dollar slippers at discount stores. These were a Christmas gift from amazon in my opinion. I came from a moccasin family and have been wearing them for 60 years. These are very nice. I think the stitching around the toe is a little thin. I'm hoping they used some high tech thread. I just got these so I cant speak to the longevity. We'll see. The sole feels like soft rubber and it has great tread. To speak to those who want arch support, traditionally, moccasins don't offer support. You can pay a lot more for them (wicked good from Maine for instance.) and they still will not have support. At least they didn't the last time I bought them. I decided not to pay that much for slippers no longer made in the U.S. For the price, I would not have expected genuine sheepskin fleece. It certainly feels like it tho. It is really dense. To speak to those who thought they ran small....you have a slipper full of fleece, meant to hug your bare foot. Unfortunately, it will begin to pank down and you will miss the feeling. When that happens. they will also start to feel large and sloppy. If the sole is still good, that's when you find nice heavy socks.

The lining and other materials are nice and durable.
I finally figured out that the fit issues are related to the height of the toe box being too low. They aren't too narrow. It's too bad because everything else about them is better than expected. Especially the soles. The furry lining is thick and soft and easily cleaned. The suede is also soft but tough. I wanted to love them but they press down on my big toes, a problem that hasn't resolve itself with wear. Had I paid full price I'd have returned them. I suspect not everyone will have this issue so for them, these are a good value on a durable slipper.

Buy these!
I HIGHLY recommend this slipper. This is my 5th pair. The quality is amazing, the fit is perfect and they are flat out cozy! The rubber sole enables you to wear them outside if needed, but I use them inside.

These Shoes Feel Sooo Yummy!!
What is not to like, great support for a moccasin, achy feet are treat to a nice hug when you put these on! We have worn these shoes out time after time!!! The "worn ones" are the "go-to for a mud shoe" after you buy the new ones to spoil yourself!!

sturdy slippers, but I probably wouldn't buy them again
These are attractive, sturdy slippers, but I probably wouldn't buy them again. I normally wear 8.5 so sized up to a 9, which is perfect. I've washed and air fluffed them a couple of times, they held up well and still look good. The sole is thick with plenty of cushion! The problem is the "fleece" lining. Some reviews have mentioned the lining being some type of acrylic. I thought "How much of a difference could that possibly make?". Plenty, apparently. The fleece, or whatever this is, has a tendency to get matted down in places so it became uneven, with some fluffy spots and some matted, rough spots. I don't have particularly sweaty feet (at least, I didn't think so) but maybe it becomes matted from moisture. I love mocassin slippers because I work from home so can wear them around the house or on outdoor errands, like grabbing the mail. These are great for indoor-outdoor use, it's a shame because I haven't had them for very long, but the lining is just too uncomfortable.
