These are the trash bags I've been looking for

I've been looking for good drawstring 13 gallon kitchen garbage bags in black. I don't know why, but none of the local stores sell them. All I can find are white bags. I like to take my kitchen trash directly to the curb for garbage pickup without having to double bag it in a black bag (because white bags are somewhat see through). These black bags do the trick. An added plus is they're a bit taller than the standard white 13 gallon kitchen bags so they actually fit in my stainless steel kitchen trash can better. They also feel thicker than the white 13 gallon bags I used to buy so I hope they're stronger too. They only downside is these are more expensive.

good product

great bags. ordered for kitchen garbage in office lunchroom due to complaints about previous ones (2 diff brands) not being able to handle some sharper trash (plastic fork pokes, cerral box corners, etc). these are very good quality. no complaints thus far.

Durable bags

These bags are great. We had issues with hefty and glad trash bags ripping or getting holes in them. I have never had an issue with these bags ripping or getting holes. They hold up even with heavy trash. The 200 bags lasted our family(6 of us) almost a year. Unfortunately they're now $10 more than they were when I first bought them but I will likely buy them again.

Finally I’ve Located A 13 Gallon Trash Bag Which I Don’t Have To Double Bag!

For years I’ve purchased name brand (G) products from trash bags of all sizes to storage, freezer and sandwich bags. Well, no longer! When (G) went to the “stretch” bags I found I was having to double bag as the new ones ripped so easily. I like black bags so I tried (H). Same problem with the stretch factor...ripping easily. When I had to purchase new freezer bags I grabbed (G) as I’ve always done. To my dismay they are now the new “stretch”. I doubled those until I got rid of them. I paid more money for the (Z), but I don’t have to double bag them...as yet! These bags are great! They are strong, the ties stay put (they don’t rip away from the bag). Another plus is they pull out of the can easier than the flimsy G or H bags. I also can continue to keep stuffing them after removal from the trash can without fear of ripping. I read the mil factor on the box. G is less than it use to be. I’m going to purchase another box even though I have plenty. I want to be sure I have some if they are discontinued or changed.

Good quantity for the price

I've had a few bags leak, and I don't put a lot of liquid in my garbage. I like that they are black and you can't see through them. I also needed extra long bags to fit my can. There is no odor block feature, so I end up only filling it about half way before needing to take it out.

Thicker trash bags

I love that these bags are thicker than the average. No worry about holes and leaks.

They're not as good as you're hoping they'll be.

Modern businesses have given us 2 options for kitchen trash bags. Option 1: bags that don't actually fit a standard 13 gallon trash bag, they barely touch the bottom and as you fill it up more they will inevitably slip off and fall in, but they are fairly durable and don't rip. Option 2: bags that fit the can nicely, edge to edge, and don't slip off, but they are not very sturdy and will rip if you put even a moderate amount of weight in them. These bags are option 2. At first, I was ecstatic about the size. That quickly faded. These bags claim to be thicker than most of the ones I use but they rip so easily. I bought a box of 200 and am now on my second roll. Almost half of them have ripped. I live in an apartment complex and while it's not a far walk to the dumpster, many times I have to carry the bag with 2 hands to ensure they don't rip on the way there. Once I'm finished with these bags I won't be buying more. If they weren't so expensive I wouldn't even bother using them anymore.

Doesn't Break My Fingernails!

I LOVE these bags. They are sturdy. They fit my kitchen trash can perfectly. And I can remove the bag from the trash can without breaking a fingernail because the bag is a bit larger than the other brands, so it's not so hard to remove. I highly recommend these bags.
