Large Numbers

Great, large numbers and easy to read

The size of the numbers get smaller after the 1foot mark.

I am legally blind in both eyes and I only have some usable vision in one of my eyes. I got this tape measure because one of the reviews was from a man who's wife had low vision so I got this being very hopeful. When I got it I noticed that the 1 inch through 12 inches numbers are the same size then after the 1 foot mark the numbers are smaller. I am able to get by and see it enough to make out the numbers. I just want to give a heads up about the size difference in the numbers so that if other visually impaired people decide to get this tape measure they are aware that the size of the number gets a bit smaller after 12 inches.

Large Numbers!!!

You can easily read the numbers from 20 plus feet away. I loved this so much I purchased a few for contractors working on my house

Great for low vision people!

We got this for my wife who has very low vision. It was way cheaper than from the vision impaired products store. And my wife can actually use this measuring tape. Good quality and easy to use.

Decent tape measure if you need large print.

If you need large print but this tape measure otherwise you can buy one just a good for half the price. I like a tape measure where you pull on the bottom to release the tape. This tape you have to slide the button with your thumb, but I got it because of the large print. The best large print tape measures don't have the 1/16 marks on the top side. If you need large numbers it is easier to eyeball half way between 1/8 marks than it is to keep all this lines straight. Craftsman use to make a large print tape the released from the bottom and didn't have the 1/16 mark on the top side that only increase confusion if you are low vision. I wish someone would make a great Large print tape this one is just OK.

VISABILITY OF LARGE NUMBERS

THIS TAPE MEASURE PAST THE LEGALLY BLIND TEST, NUMBERS WERE LARGE ENOUGH TO SEE THEM, THIS WAS THE MAIN REASON I PURCHASED THIS PRODUCT I WISH OTHER COMPANIES WOULD JOIN IN ON MAKING EASIER READABLE ITEMS FOR THOSE OF US IN NEED THANKS
