stylish and strong + some advice for installation

This grab bar is stylish and strong. Don't believe the negative reviews that indicate it is hard to install or that you have to run the screws in at an angle because the trim ring. Those reviews just did not use a sensible approach when installing the screws. Just start and gradually tighten all the screws working each one a few turns then move on to the next. This allows you to tilt the trim ring to the side as you work each screw. Proceed in this manner, tightening each screw a few turns, working all together until you finally reach the wall with each screw in unison, continuing to tilt the trim ring to the side so you can access each screw straight on. When all screws are tight, snap the trim ring into place. This bar does not come with installation instructions, so I hop the advice above is helpful to dispel the negative comments and to help guide your installation. The final result is beautiful, strong, and a great enhancement.

Quality, stylish product

I think they look great. They're mounted as vertical grab bars on the posts of the covered front porch I recently built. Great alternative to a traditional handrail. Stainless steel should last I lifetime. I hope.

Gorgeous Grab Bar

I used this grab bar in a shower at the beach. It is actually very pretty and looks like a decorative item instead of a grab bar. This grab bar is very functional without being unsightly.

Doesn’t look “Handicap “

I’m trying to get away from the old fashioned handicap look but still have safety. The image does not give it justice as it is a thick bar for the hand to grab, but the curves give it an artistic flare.

Sturdy & Attractive, but Annoying to Install

Nice design, and the welding and polishing are first-rate. Installing it has some annoyances. The ring that covers the mounding screws interferes with installing the mounting screws unless you drill the pilot holes at a slight angle. Plan that out before you start drilling. Also, the included 2 1/2" mounting screws are seriously too long. If you use them then you will need an extra-long drill bit to make the holes deep enough. And don't try to insert the screws unless the pilot holes are full depth. The screw will bottom out and you will shear off the head of the mounting screw. I think that 2" screws should be entirely adequate.
