Not for use under 40 degrees Fahrenheit

I ordered this as a way to heat my bird bath during the winter and didn't realize until reading the instructions that it says to put it in storage for temperatures below 40 degrees Fahrenheit. I don't see that anywhere on the Amazon page or anywhere on the box.

Perfect for a little fountain effect

The media could not be loaded. This is a great solar fountain for a bird bath, better than the other 4 I've purchased. In my video, I attached all the nozzles, because the spray nozzle didn't go very high. There is a ring attachment for deeper basins to keep it from floating around. I really like it. Keep in mind though, asmany others have stated, if there is ANY blockage from the direct sunlight, it will stop flowing. That is the only "downside" of this fountain. Others I've owned have stored power, so that after the sun stops shining on it, it'll continue to flow a couple more hours. But honestly, it's not a deal breaker.

Nice little fountain

The media could not be loaded. This is a great little fountain that won't spray water out of the basin. It is extremely light sensitive and doesn't work at all when even partially shaded. (see video) on a bright day, just shading part with my hand decreases the water flow. I prefer the flatter spray nozzle since it limits the height of the spray. The increased oxygen in the water did increase the algae in the basin so be ready to wash it about once a week.

Very sturdy product

Works as described

When the sun is out full, it runs like a champ. When the clouds cover the sun, it shuts off which I truly like. Some of the birds seem a little timid about the fountain when it is running but they come to the birdbath when it is not running. So we have all types of birds enjoying it at all times. Plus it looks nice for humans too.

Works well in direct sun.

We love this thing when the sun is shining directly on it. Birds love it, too. Heed all the other advice on here - know that it will only work in direct sun.

Not Worth the Money

The media could not be loaded. It works but only when the sun is hitting it directly. If it's cloudy or shady it won't work.

I love this darn thing!

I am absolutely in love with my solar fountain. I recommended it to friends in North Carolina, and they bought one. All I do is add water once or twice a day. I haven't done any maintenance of any kind.

Don't waste your money.

This unit does not actually contain a solar battery, so only works when in contact with direct sunlight. Useless and expensive waste of money, as it is not returnable.
