Nice water distribution, but the pump does not flow enough water.

I have the Stansport folding sluice that his setup goes with. I am not really pleased with the water this pump puts out. For the width of 9 inches on the sluice I would say that a 1500gph (maybe even a 2000gph so it can be regulated) is needed, not the 1200gph that this comes with. And yes I do have the correct angle on the sluice. It is a 4 inch drop from front to back.

It works

It works. None of the mounting holes line up correctly but am starting to see a pattern with product from stansport. I bought the 50 inch folding sluice, you can see my comment on that as well.

Did not fit

This was 2” short on both sides to bolt to sluice box. I have been in touch with stansport about this problem. I returned the first one and the replacement was short also.

Would of had 5 stars but I had to add a flow valve and add to DC wires

I purchased this for my VEVOR Folding Aluminum Alloy Sluice Box, Compact 50". I knew it would nicely fit the width and I might need to clamp it down to secure it. But I got lucky and was able to use the side mounting hole which lined up perfectly with my VEVOR. The mounting screw located on the bottle didn't line up. That screw came with a screw; wing nut and rubber washer so all I did tighten it down so water doesn't leak from the hole. The hose has a 1 inch ID. For flow control I added inline a 3/4 inch PVC water valve with two 3-1/2 inch glued in PVC pipes. I used Thread Sealant Tape and wrapped it around to build up the area for a tight fit before clamping it down. I did test the flow rate without the valve and then after installing it and there was no noticeable change in flow. See my attached photo. The hose is designed with straight sections wear you can cut it to add the valve. The Pros: very well constructed; the flow rate kicks butt and works great. The cons: I feel it is over priced by a few dollars; did not come with a flow control valve and the DC cord from the pump is only 2 feet long. Would have given it 5 stars but for that price it didn't come with a flow control valve and the DC wires are only 2 foot long. What genius did that? Working around water and a battery I would thing those wire would be at least 6 foot long Now I have to extend them myself.
