Assembling legs an issue but finished product is great.

Only thanks to all the helpful reviews, we were able to get the legs into the table by cutting off a piece of the plastic in the table holes and then blow drying each hole for under a minute or so in order to get the legs in. Other than this weird manufacturing defect and having to Ron Swanson our way to the finished product, the table itself is awesome. We aren't using it for normal sand but for painting, kinetic sand, water play, etc. because I'm not about that indoor mess and I could not stand the amount of clean up required for the normal water tables with all the bells and whistles (more crevices for weird nasty growth and pollen to wash out everytime it's left outside too long). Table is level and a great height for our 2 year-old.

Lid could be better

It is overall a great sand table. The only thing bad is the lid does not cover the entire top of the table. there is a little lip around the edge that the lid does not cover and the rain was able to hit that and flow into the sand. If you want it to stay dry you will have to cover it with plastic on top of the lid. Other than that it was a hit with the grandkid.

It does it's job

I bought it originally to keep it in the house. But we moved it outside thinking the cover would keep the rain out. No such luck. Now it's a mud pit

Great quality

Great quality sand table. The legs were very hard to attach. I weigh almost 200 lbs and that wasn't enough to get them in place, had to use a small sledge hammer and that took quite a few tries too. But my daughter plays with this product daily and has no complaints.

Brilliant

I don't write reviews on Amazon as a habit but this is a brilliant product. I bought it for my 15-month-old daughter and she absolutely loves it. She never gets bored with 'saaaaand' and will play for hours in the garden if I let her. I like it because: 1) it's hardwearing. ok yes it's made of plastic and doesn't look as trendy as some other sandboxes with special wood cladding but it won't rot or discolor or fall apart because the screws got loose. kids don't care about trendy anyway. 2) it's the right size -- not to big, not too small, it can be moved around easily. 2-3 children can play at it easily 3) it's very practical -- it's sturdy, and was easy to put together. it has a cover. 4) it came with free stuff -- a bucket, spades and 2 'claws' -- more than enough sand toys to keep a toddler entertained I could see that maybe with older children, they might have to stoop to play but I solved this problem by buying a small folding chair. My daughter isn't too tall for it yet, but thought I'd go ahead and get one. She loves sitting in her chair and building castles. Buy it.

Great Sand Table

Bought this for my 3 year old. It is very sturdy, although a was a little bit awkward to get the legs slotted in - took a lot of force, but didn't take too long. It is a good size and perfect height, you could easily get 4 children playing around it at once. My only slight complaint is that the lid sometimes leaks meaning that it has been full of water on a couple of occasions, otherwise excellent! My son also loves the little 'roads' on the lid for his cars.

Perfect for a 2 year old

If you are looking for a sandpit for your back garden for a 2 year old I would look no further. This table arrived quickly and was very easy to put together. It comes with some tools to play with and a lid which protects it from rain and cats poo! My son can stand and play with it or sometimes sits on a stool - it is the perfect height for his age. Sometimes he does like to climb in and sit in it ???? and it is sturdy enough that it holds his weight.

Best sand table

Lovely item - easy to play with (compared with the ones with benches built in) and keeps several toddlers (and older!) happy at the same time. Decent size, and the lid actually keeps the sand pretty dry (it got a bit damp in recent storms but that was extreme weather). Would recommend for any little ones who can stand, good quality, works well. Almost forgot to say - I thought the little "tracks" in the lid were a bit of an overkill, but my son absolutely loves racing his cars and trains around on it, so I was proved entirely wrong on that front!

It was easy to assemble

Bought for my 4 year old - No complaints. He would play at the sand table for hours and hours if I let him.... It was easy to assemble, it is very sturdy - the lid does not keep the sand dry - water still gets in but this doesn't bother me too much as it is only rainwater and the kiddies love getting mucky anyway! It isn't very high but again this doesn't bother me or the kiddies. Overall I feel this is a really good product, well made and should last a long time.
