Still tight fit for cords

This is not 5 stars because the bend required for thicker cords was more than I hoped for. I would recommend using cords that have 90 angled plug

Almost Perfect

These are a really nice concept and close to being a perfect product. Although I gave it 3-stars, it is closer to a 4-star product, but I tend to be a bit nit-picky. That said, however, I will buy again. The Good: I really like how compact these become when they are not in use. The accordian style rubber they use feels very strong. The "see-through" plastic window is real nice to be able to see the GFCI indicator lights and it appears to be very durable as well. These come with a vast selection of various interchangeable faceplates to accommodate a wide range receptacle types. Too bad there was not a way to mail all the "un-needed" faceplates back to save a few cents and reduce waste, but, great to have the selection. The Not So Good: Would be nice if the hinge pin had a spring assist to prop the cover open while installing. The "in-use" portion of the cover is difficult to keep itself locked in place due to the undersized lock tabs. The frame around these tabs tend to spread out a bit and the cover doesn't want to stay snapped in. While using this in its "in-use" form, the force of plugged-in cord makes it very difficult to lock the hinged door in place. Lastly, because everything is plastic, it is hard to make a receptacle stay flush and level. The receptacles lay in place with a small twist due to any wire force behind the receptacle.

Works as described - just a little difficult to open

Hard to open

I bought this to match what the electrician installed on another structure on my property. They are ridiculously hard to open and I will end up 'adjusting' the locking devices. Wishing I had the older "bubble style".
