It fits my trailer good.
It fits my trailer good. The only thing I don’t like about it is it’s just a little difficult to place the key in it the hole because It’s on the bottom facing down. But I think it’s really worth the money.

Best lock unless you spend $300
Best lock you can get unless you spend $300 on the Amplock. Great design and build quality. I have the Amplock on my big, expensive trailer, but wanted something cheaper for my little trailer. This will deter all but the pro thieves who don't even remove locks, they just quickly clamp a tow jig right over the A-frame and remove the locks at the hideout.

Trailer tongue lock
I think the lock would be more secure if the top lip wasn’t there for a thief to use to possibly pry against

Fit w/o modification and does the job
Fit snug right out of the box on my trailer. It's simple enough to install. It's a little tricky to get the key in the lock to unlock just because the lock cylinder faces the ground and it's hard to see. Easy to install and lock. I noticed the black finish faded pretty quickly. If you want it to remain pretty I'd recommend spraying it with some clear or better paint.

Excellent Lock To Thwart Amateur/Accidental Thieves
In response to the other reviewer of this product, "M", who claims the lock is worthless...I could not disagree more. If the lock was worthless, it wouldn't even slow down a criminal in stealing your trailer. Any trailer coupler lock that is easy for YOU, the owner, to use, is not going to be thief-proof. If a thief is motivated enough, even a locked coupler won't stop them from towing away your trailer. The point is to deter most criminals from even trying...i.e. move on to the next trailer whose owner didn't spend a few bucks on a lock! Back to this coupler lock...overall I found it to be a very sturdy and easy-to-use lock for our 2" trailer coupler. Some may not like how the key lock hole is on the bottom of the lock, facing downwards, especially if they are not fond of bending over. That is why I am more a fan of the DeadBolt Blockhead lock (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00EP99H0G/) that has the key lock hole on the front. The reason why I took a star off for this product is because of that fact plus the fact that it only fits the one size coupler (2"). The Blockhead lock I just mentioned is able to accommodate 2 5/16" couplers as well. I can see that some may argue that the tighter, singular fit of this lock is better (less wiggle room), but so far I have not experienced any problems with the Blockhead's looser fit on 2" couplers. You may have noticed I mentioned "accidental thieves" in my headline...in our area we have seen social media posts of neighbors asking if anyone knew who took/stole their boat trailer from the general parking area. Turns out that sometimes someone isn't paying attention and will take your trailer by accident because they look the same! So that is partly why we put locks on all of our trailers, even if we feel like it is a "safe" area!

This is the only one.
Don't mess around the goofy red one or the cute little blue one. Get this one. Slips right on to the lip rim of the 2" ball housing and secures fast, tight and most importantly EASY. It works the way it's supposed to work without the hassle of configuring and messing around trying to make it fit.

Feeling Lucky - Fits well on Yacht Club 1800 GVWR Boat Trailer
Reviews that it doesn't fit are just bad luck of the draw as there are more than 6 different outer flanges on 2 inch couplers. Certainly is not the high quality of the Master Model 33 that fit the 1 7/8 couplers. Slightly loose but will not easily be pulled off without a pry bar. Lock underneath may be a better design for water intrusion avoidance, but the superior Master solid brass keyworks are a thing of the past. I also use an armored Master Padlock on the coupler latch to lessen theft. Would buy it again.

Decent lock
Working as advertised. I love having the key opening on the bottom where snow, ice and rain can't get in. Not sure I would trust a high value trailer to just this lock but it works well on an old boat trailer along with a few additional measures
