Got wide feet?

I bought these boots because of their width. I require a wide toe box because I have wide feet and any constriction makes my feet very cold very fast. These shoes have the expected 4E width, but I do not slip forward or sideways in them even during longer walks. For those who have similar shoes, I run in Altra Instincts 3.5 in size 10.5 and have a similar fit as the Tundra in my Vivobarefoot Gobi 10.5. The downside for me is that the ankle gets about three times as warm as the toe area. They are warm, but the sole has no foam parts, thus gets cool quicker than say a sneaker would.

FINALLY! Some love for WIDE feet.

People with wide feet, look no further! I noticed that there were a great deal of reports saying that these boots run wide. Well, they absolutely do, and that's a GOOD thing... for me, at least. I've been on the lookout for WIDE TALL snow boots. I normally wear 3 or 4e shoes, so you can imagine that my feet are quite wide. Sad thing, I noticed there weren't really any TALL snow boots available in anything other than "D" width. So, I set out to try and find a pair with many reports of them running wide, and I finally found them. THESE boots. What I can say is, I normally wear 3 or 4e, and these boots wound up fitting PERFECTLY! I couldn't be happier. The construction of the rubber does seem a bit on the cheap side. It can create somewhat odd pinch feelings in small sections while walking, but nothing that seems like it would cause any soreness or pain in the long run, so, they feel comfortable enough. VERY warm as well. I walked in them for just 10 minutes in the house to test them, and my feet were absolutely baked when I got out of them. EDIT: I wound up having to return mine, because as it turns out, the odd molding for the rubber on the right boot did cause discomfort in the long run. Considering it was only on the right boot, it was probably just a small defect with the pair I got. They were still some pretty great boots, otherwise. I likely will try another pair, later.

Not waterproof.

Stepped into slushy wet snow in a puddle. What did I get? Set socks... in winter. Great.

Probably worth five stars...

But I haven't had a chance to wear them in five-star conditions yet. Kept my feet warm in 3" of slush and snow, but the real test is several inches. One issue: not enough cushioning underfoot, as if there was a layer missing. So I stuck some Dr. Scholl's pads under the lining, and now, they're great.

Great boots, glad I purchased them!

These boots are my go-to for lots of snow in the winter. They're very comfortable, warm, waterproof, etc. Not hugely fond of the laces but it makes them easier to take on and off, so there's that. They look pretty stylish and seem like they'll hold up for many winters to come. I ordered 5 or 6 pairs of boots and this is 1 of 2 I decided to stick with due to the style, fit, comfort, and materials/waterproofing. I do not regret my decision to purchase these and you won't too. (Side note, they aren't SUPER wide so if you have normal feet like me, just order the next size up if you're a half size and they should fit just fine with thick wool socks.)

These boots are awesome!

I am very glad that I got these boots. I had never heard of the manufacturer before and they were quite a bit cheaper than the competition. They are very easy to dry out and such if you get the liner wet and they are incredibly warm. I highly recommend these boots to other people. The only downside is if you don't like the draw cord which is the only real way to tighten them. I find it convenient and they fit my feet like little foot gloves.
