This was bought for our Minu, which is our companion to our main stroller, an Uppababy Vista My wife and I were going back and forth on either the Minu or the Babyzen Yoyo+, and one sticking point for us is that while our 7mo might soon outgrow his Uppababy Mesa carseat, while living with the Yoyo+ for about a week, we were missing the ability to put it directly onto the stroller to for short errands out of the car or to avoid disturbing a nap started in the car. We eventually decided to return the Yoyo+ to Nordstrom, and bought the Minu and these adapters. To keep things short, these do well what they were intended to do, and hold the carseat as well as the built-in attachment points on our Vista. The adapters themselves are made of very durable plastic and have tabs that interlock with the purpose-made attachement points on the Minu, and also feature metal clasp hardware. They use a combination of interlocking plastic tabs, a first friction fitment and a metal latch to very firmly attach to the Minu. Some important points to know from research and our uses: - While the adapter kit comes with a hand storage bag that stows on the stroller and does not interfere with the folding, the bag itself is made of a lightweight nylon, attaches with velcro loops and closes with a metal clasp in the middle of the opening. They fit the adapters in lengthwise only, which is sometimes is an ask to do since the bag hangs just above the front of the basket area when the Minu is unfolded. It is easier to put the adapters in the bag once the stroller is folded, but you'll have to find somewhere to hold the adapters for a second while you fold -- not ideal, but not a deal breaker. - You cannot fold the Minu with these adapters attached -- that said, it doesn't take long to take them off after just a couple of uses. The adapters are color coded to each side of the stroller so it's really easy to get it right the first time. - In the official literature/videos about this adapter, the toddler seat is always completely taken off. In our use, we found this not necessary, and to get a good lock onto the adapters with teh Mesa carseat, one must simply lower the seat to clear the foot of the car seat. - When the carseat is in place, the Minu canopy along with the Mesa canopy provide nearly 100% coverage over the baby -- not watertight at all, but fairly comprehensive sun protection. Overall, these adapters make the Minu the best compromise between portability and capability for our family. The Minu is much more manageable than the Vista for traveling, we've gotten it to fit in all the overhead bins on Southwest, American, and Alaska/Virgin America flights we've taken with it (as a babyzen Yoyo+ would), still allows us to plug a carseat into it, and gives us a stroller with a 50lbs capacity (vs. a Babyzen Yoyo+ with a 40lbs capacity...which might not matter if our little guy ends up getting out of the stroller early, but the extra runway to use the minu is nice).
