I wish it had a volume button.

I knew not to expect too, too much from this toy after reading the reviews and obviously seeing the way that it’s pictured but it’s actually better than expected. The whole household enjoys Bluey so we liked that we recognized different instrumentals & that we got to change the instrument that played them and that there are different games and phrases we recognized like the fruit bat game or “bad mood”. I do however agree with another review that mentioned the screen could be bigger and the sound louder. I can see there being no color on the screen but it would be great if it were bigger to see better. Theres a game where you have to hit the arrows or the ok button and when the symbols for right or left come down, they don’t look like either symbol (at least to me) and I feel they could be easier to make out. The volume isn’t whisper low but I wish there was a button somewhere like on the side that allows you to turn it up or down by just a notch or two. Overall, still a great toy for Bluey fans & kids that like to play telephone with random objects. I got to take my remote and phone back finally lol

If you child likes Bluey, this is a fun toy to have - but it does have a couple of issues.

I buy a lot of VTech toys for my child (for reference, she's 2 years old) and she plays with them all to an extent. I had previously purchased another play phone and she loved it. Bluey is something we watch as a family and she requests to watch it daily, so I thought the "Ring Ring phone" would be something she would use for imaginary play. She absolutely loves it from all the voices of the characters to the little digitized screen of Bluey, Bingo, Bandit and Chilli (among others). I was sad that Muffin wasn't on this phone, which seemed surprising. This phone acts like most of the other toy phones when you push a button and then a character says something, or the phone will ring. There are also some interactive parts where they would need to literally blow into the phone (for the Bluey watchers, it's part of keepy uppey) There's plenty for any child to do and enjoy. Now for the deltas - 1) The screen is pretty dim and it's only a grey LCD. I think with today's technology, it should have been brighter and in color. It's a small screen and shouldn't be hard to implement. 2) The sound is fairly low; I understand the use of batteries could be an issue, but why not a rechargeable battery one and have the sound a bit louder. If those 2 issues were rectified (and the price point stay close to the same), this would easily be a 5 star toy. As is, it's a fun toy for the young Bluey fan.

My grandson absolutely adores this toy. Even though it says for three and up, he is able to play with it at only 18 months.
