Great for men’s suits and an orderly closet

For a long time now I have wanted to organize my suit closet. I have bought many men’s suits over the years and they each come with their own suit bag and hanger. In addition to the disorder, the majority of suit bags are not clear, so I had to label the hanger to know which suit I was selecting and that added to the mess. Some of the cloth suit bags have a little clear plastic square over the right breast, but when every suit is either blue, dark grey or black, that small square isn’t very useful to make out the differences. Admittedly, I was unsure of how the closet would look with clear bags or if I would be able to distinguish the suits in them, but I am so glad I tried these bags out. First of all, they are really affordable, so you can try a set without feeling put out. Second, they look and work great! The plastic on the front is crystal clear and they are the perfect size for men’s suits (for 6’ man, size 42L). The zipper and seams appear to be sturdy. They do smell like plastic when you first open them, but then that is probably because they are made of plastic. Not a big deal, something to expect going into it and the smell disappears within a day or two. I am back on the site today to order another set because I am so pleased with the first (as I did with the accompanying hangers that can be found hereQuality Hangers Wooden Hangers Beautiful Sturdy Suit Coat Hangers with Locking Bar Gold Hooks (5 PACK) ). I will update this review if there are any quality issues moving forward.

Bag is fine but overpriced.

I wanted matching bags so I bought this again. $15 now. Was $10 a few months ago and that was high. Like the breathable panel. Not sure how it will work out regarding moths. Like that it is clear so you can see in without opening. Bag would not work on travel, it's too flimsy. This is a closet bag to protect your suits. There are alternatives at lower prices and I would have picked one of those and bought 3 bags or more for about the same prices.

It's good for the price

I should have looked at the second picture. I was actually wanting one that was plastic all around. This has that breathable white fabric that is common for these types of bags. I don't know about the durability or using it for travel seeing as it will only be sitting in my closet holding my husband's old uniforms. It works well for covering and protecting his uniforms. It's light weight but not dollar tree cheap. My only complaint is the shipping. It came in an envelope, which is okay. However, it is extremely hot here. I had to wait until these bags had cooled down to peel them apart to use. I was afraid had I done it when they were hot that I would have torn them. I would buy these again for storage.

Perfect for Dance Costumes

Recital season is upon us again and that means someone (me) has to organize multiple sets of dance costumes for spring performances. Last year I shopped around and couldn't find what I was looking for. I ended up with dress bags that were really long and quite wide. While inconveniently bulky, I felt those worked quite well for the ballet dresses with puffy skirts. But they are really too large for the flatter lyrical dresses and tap leotards. I bought several of these Whitmor Suit Bags and I couldn't be happier. When you open the package, there's a strong plastic smell that comes from the bags. I unfolded them and let them air for a day and they were fine. The front is clear plastic with a full zipper and the back is a white, breathable, fabric. The plastic is thick enough that I can add tape my schedule to the front of it without fear of the plastic ripping when I remove the tape. The zipper is also a nice enough quality that I have no concerns that it will break or not last through this recital and more to come. While these are really meant for suits, I find that they hold two or three of the flat costumes and accessories very well. Plus it allows me to leave the costumes hanging without worrying that excited little dancers will accidentally get them dirty.

Perfect closet suit storage

This product is perfect for storing suits that are not often used. It is completely see-through on one side so you always know what's in it. It feels durable to last for quite a while but not enough to use for travel unless it was enclosed in something else. Very pleased with this suit bag.

Didn’t like the opaque backing

These had white material on the back instead of being transparent. Flimsier than I expected. The thin cloth backs made this NOT weather or waterproof. These could NOT be laid down on any damp or dirty surface. Disappointed.

A Curious Flaw

This product meets the need for protecting a suit on a hanger. (We really needed this.) But I’m puzzled when the zipper isn’t in the center of the hanging bag? It makes stuffing the suit into the bag somewhat awkward.

Great bags, do what they are desinged to do.

I bought these bags to use for spare coats in my front hall closet. As a product - they work well, exactly as advertised. They do have a slight odor, that does wear off quickly. Unfortunately, I ended up find a 3 pack of garment bags at another retailer for $6. I wish I had known about those before I purchased these individually.
