This has Survived My Pitbull

This Chuck It Stick is awesome, solid, thick rubber! I have a very aggressive chewer! My pitbull can sit there and eat half of a 8 in. Elk antler! I bought this for play and to give my dog a break from the Deer antlers! He absolutely loves this thing and he will sit there and gnaw on it and it has yet to tear. Great fetch it toy! Definitely has some density to it! Worth the purchase!

Fake stick that Dogs like

My pups really enjoy this "fake" stick. Not sure how durable they are as the local pack has managed to peel some of the blue material off

Best fetch stick money can buy.

My Boston Terrier absolutely loves this thing. We've named it "Chucky" and if you ask her where Chucky is she will go get it to play. She's normally pretty rough on toys but this has held up for several months of daily use and outdoor play. HIGHLY recommend this for playing fetch.

It's still lasting

To start my dog is a tear a 3 months old and he is half pit/lab and teething hard. We ha e had his stick for a couple of months and it's been bit off twice mow and he still loves his stick. I'll come and do an update when he does get to the end but so far he loves his stick. It is durable and strong he is just really teething hard but other then that it's a great stick for dogs and for fetching

Lasts.

My dog can eat any toy and the first one I bought has lasted at least 8 months with the ends chewed off. I bought this one so he would have a brand new one. It seems to be one of his favorites.

Throws well

This stick is easy to throw far and it keeps my dog from chewing on branches in the yard.

it actually is great!

The media could not be loaded. I have two dogs. one is lovely and gentle and managed to still have her puppy toys, mostly in one piece, even after 7 years.... Enter the new dog. the new dog is a tornado of destruction. everything he can fit in his mouth, he eats. he's chewed up over 30 balls, 10 rope toys, 5 dining chairs and god knows how many "indestructible" toys.. this thing however, remains intact. it's a wobbly stick. you can throw it pretty far, it's slightly bouncy and two dogs can play silly tugging games with it between themselves. most importantly, he hasn't eaten it or even nibbled it. it has survived. oh, an aside, all the chuck-it toys seems to smell like chocolate?? which is rather hilarious! e: still going! see attached video for what this thing goes through on a constant basis. still in one piece! (although somewhat faded from being left in the sun)

Doesn’t float

I’m a big fan of Chuckit ultra balls which are durable, very bouncy and float, so I had high hopes for this stick. It does appear to be made of the same stuff as the balls, but disappointingly does not float and on the first outing I ended up having to fish it out from the bottom of a pond. It’s now only a matter of time before the dog drops it in the reservoir or river and that’ll be that. I’ve just re read the description which quite clearly says that it does float so maybe mine is faulty, but I won’t be risking another.

Sticky

Skye will play for hours with a stick. She does this clapping motion with her jaws when excited. It's not really a bite or chewing but it does damage the stick surface and create splinters. I got her this and a frisbee for Christmas and frisbee is her favourite but sticky has grown on her. She is too quick and too clever, so you have to throw it in a high arc so she over shoots where she has worked out it will land. A stick sometimes gets hidden from us! But sticky being orange and blue is much easier for us to find! Sticky, is pretty flexible and sometime gets referred to as the orange dong! However the flexibility is a good thing as little miss excitable gets very careless in her play! She has tried to force feed herself a stick by having the end in her mouth! While this is still an issue the rubbery sticky, while unpleasant if force fed while running isn't going to damage her mouth, teeth or throat. A great toy for a walk

Much more durable than expected.

After reading the information (and several reviews) stating this toy is not suitable for unsupervised play, I decided I'd buy it just to play fetch with our very big, very strong german shepherd. Of course, having an almost one year old puppy, it very quickly turned into a tug of war toy. Having now had it for nearly two months, it is not even damaged. Very surprised at the toughness and durability of this toy. Great value for money, and our dog absolutely loves this toy for both indoor and outdoor play. It has spent many a night left outside in all kinds of weather, and a 40kg puppy has tried his hardest to destroy it, with no such luck. Would highly recommend, particularly for a teething dog as the soft rubber will satisfy them without doing any damage to their mouth (and without driving you nuts by squeaking incessantly).

I purchased this as the title states "land and water". Unless your dog is an excellent free diver, do not throw this in any water deeper than your arm.
