Solid tool

Tools have a name for a reason. When they’re a specialty tool they had better be durable and useful. This one totally fits the bill! I highly recommend it. Don’t use this as a household hammer. This is a megnetic tack hammer and does it’s job extremely well!

Great for tacks

I really like using this Estwing hammer on my projects with tacks. The magnet is strong enough to hold the tack so I can hammer it into the wood and them switch to the other side to drive them the rest of the way in.

Good Purchase thumbs up

I will never be able to replace my grandfather’s tack hammer. It had a real wood handle and steel and I’m sure it came either from Germany or made in the United States to grow the United States so this one is made in Taiwan which is better than China and the handle feels good but it’s not real wood it looks like wood feels like wood almost is a good deal I mean I haven’t used it yet but I don’t see any problems with it yeah we’re not gonna get tools like we used to so there’s a little bitty hammers no I think this will do the job when I need it to so the one side is a hammer and the other side is a car and easy to hold and it’s a tack hammer so I mean it seems sturdy but I haven’t used it yet but yeah I would definitely recommend it. You really can’t tell that it’s not real wood. I’m a tool person and I’ve been looking for a long time so yeah I would recommend it

Love my hammer! Especially great for a lightweight tool.

I've search high and low to replace my upholstery tack hammer and this is perfect. Not doing upholtery now but I will use it for hanging picture frames and anyother household task that doesn’t need a 7 pound hammer! Bonus feature is the magnetic tip.

The handle on my very old hammer broke. I found a replacement handle, but it was more expensive than the complete new on. I do not use a tack hammer a lot but the times needed it a great tool. this is well built and will last a long time. Probably me

I have used estwing hammers for years. So when I wanted a smaller hammer for some furniture tacks Estwing was the go to choice. I wasn't disappointed. Despite it's low price the hammer is well made and a pleasure to use.
