Need extra batteries but great

Run time is short about 20 minutes but it t is really good for the money. I was pleasantly surprised that it was so powerful. I do wish I had sprung for the 40v but this definitely does a good job. I have a lot of land and we use it hard. It’s only slightly less powerful than an gas one but far easier to use and smoother to hold than gas. I imagine the 40v provides as much power as a pro grade gas eater. If you had three batteries you could run no stop.

The battery is the worst feature, but overall a great product

So I got this to trim up around my house and get some weeds from under the trees around the yard, and I have to say for my first time using a weed eater (as I’m a first time homeowner and never needed one) this was VERY easy to use, assemble and all that jazz. The only thing that stunk was that the battery was drained less than 40 mins of being in use. I am overall happy with the product as I don’t want to have to use gas to power my tools, so I’m not upset about the battery. I guess if that’s the worst thing about it, it’s a good option (unless that’s the most important thing to you).

It's a little heavy, and the battery a little short-lived

I got this a few weeks ago to do some trimming back of wild grasses. It does a great job of trimming weeds and grass. It cuts efficiently and the power is good. After using it for about 30 minutes, it does wear a little heavy on the arms, and that is significant because you have to hold it above the ground much of the time. Also, the battery only lasts for about 20 minutes of run time. That is normally enough to get the job done, but just barely.

Amazing versatility!

Wow I am shocked at how well this thing edges! Light weight I have an acre n 1/2 yard one charge did entire yard edging and weed whacking I the way they made the buttons to switch it from weed eater to edger was so easy I am glad it’s light weight. Awesome product!

Lightweight and very maneuverable

This weed trimmer is easy to operate and much lighter than the larger 40 volt trimmer. It is just a single-line trimmer, which can require repeated trimming. But it does the job without wearing you out.

I have had no problem with line feed. I do click it on an off frequently because my runs are somewhat short. Works way better than the corded edger/trimmer I was using.

Excellent cordless 24v weed trimmer

This GreenWorks weed trimmer, is very well built and works great, so far no problems with it, just need to purchase another battery to have as a spare because a fully charged battery will only last 20-25 minutes.

Easy to use and easy to replace the line

After I fully charged it I was surprised on the performance and how fast it did the job for me. I bought the 2nd gen version and it did not let me down.

Not returnable or refundable

My wife purchased this item not realizing it didn't come with a battery or charger. Ok, her bad obviously. But when we tried to return or exchange it. They said the item was not returnable even though it cleary showed on the product page returnable or refundable. And now to buy the battery and charger separately, its another $130. Thats ridiculous, i could have purchased the 40v package for less thsn that. And Amazon says theres nothing they can do even clearly the mistake is on their side .

Lo recomiendo, es de buena calidad

Está genial, superó las expectativas. Para desmalezar una región pequeña es perfecto. El jardín en el que lo usé tenía meses sin que nadie lo podara, se hizo en dos pasadas porque la batería no aguantó, pero el mantenimiento luego de eso se hace con una sola carga (en mi caso). Lo recomiendo para quienes hacen mantenimiento en casa o no tienen un jardín muy grande, lástima que las baterías más grandes son difíciles de conseguir. -- Actualización: después de usarla unas 4 veces comenzó a fallar, hace como que arranca, pero a penas toca la grama se apaga (incluso con la batería recién cargada). Pensé que era de mejor calidad.

Mal mal mal NO COMPREN

En primer lugar la bateria nadamas duro 6 meses. Al hablar con la compania se tardaron mas de 45 minutos en contestar. La primera que me contesto me dijo tendria que buscar como mandar la bateria a mexico, la segunda vez que hable se les habia "perdido" mi informacion y que por ser Mexico, no podian hacer nada. Tendria que comprar otra bateria. Cuando pedi hablar con su supervisor me dijeron que estaba comiendo y que no se podia molestar. NO COMPREN NO COMPREN NO COMPREN

Excellent!

I love Greenworks tools. I have many of them. I bought this from Amazon Wearhouse and it was basically brand new. No real signs of damage at all. Simple to put together and works perfectly. If you want to save a few bucks then check out Amazon Wearhouse.

Older greenworks 24v battery doesn’t work

Be careful unable to use older greenworks 24v batteries thought I could just by the tool as my old one died and my old battery was still good but low and behold the new tool doesn’t allow the use of older greenworks batteries
