Cute but recipes aren't really what a kid wants

I was so excited to get this for my son, but there's only a couple things in here he thought were fun to make and eat. The rest, not so much. For him, I would not purchase again. If you have a young kid that eats pretty much anything, then it will be fine.

Book looks interesting but it arrived looking used.

While we won't get to to test drive the book with the intended recipients until after Christmas, I can say the packaging left a lot to be desired. The corners are messed up - not a huge deal - but as this is a gift I am reluctant to give a gift that looks used. I will be looking to see if I can find a copy locally so I can return this. While I might recommend that book, I do not recommend purchasing from Amazon.

Great Recipes and Great for children to learn

I purchased this book for my son who is 7 years old who watches cooking shows all day and loves helping me cook momma dinner. Well, this book intrigued me to cook a few things from it that I really didn't know how to make. It is a great book for a child to learn to cook and most of the recipes in the book we all have the ingredients in our kitchen already. Also comes with a nice wisp to add to your cooking tool collection. The guacamole recipe is really really good in it although I did spice it up a little bit. It has a lot of fun, easy recipes for you to do with your little one or if your older and learning, this book is a must.

Great for Beginners

This book was a gift for my 8 year old who loves to cook. It did not disappoint. She has tried every meal in this book. The recipes are easy to read and understand. The whisk was a big hit. She needs mimimim help from mom and dad when cooking with this book. In fact, she has changed some of the recipes to make them her own.

Makes a great gift.

This book makes an ideal gift. The recipes are easy, you could probably think of them all off the top of your head, but having them in a book gives kids the experience that they are a true chef! My daughter loves it. Simple, easy, and pretty healthy recipes. Comes with a rainbow-colored whisk. Colorful pictures.

Great cookbook, not great design

Kid loved the cookbook. One complaint I have is that once you remove the whisk (which is crummy) you have a very strange shaped book.
