NO WASTED HEAT1

This is the only pan I can use on my stove with an oval burner. Because it is so large I store it on top of the fridge so it is always handy. Great for soup and big pots of spaghetti.

I don’t put this in the dishwasher as I would like it to last as long as possible. It isn’t difficult to hand wash. It is sturdy, cleans up well, stores easily. This also pan heats evenly. I would buy another if I needed another.

I got it through Amazon Warehouse for $60. Box was slightly crushed, but pan & lid were perfect. One of my best purchases ever. It’s not too heavy when filled with liquids. Doesn’t boil over, due to spout on lid. Five stars.

Great product!

I have purchased the entire set of Rachel Ray cookware and it is beautiful and very easy to use and clean. So naturally, when I found this oval pot I bought it. This is a great pasta pot, and just like the other pieces, it is very high quality and with a few easy to clean ideas to keep them new, they will last for many years. Just remember not to use metal spoons or spatulas, only use plastic or silicone utensils. Food comes right off with no effort. I also wash mine by hand, rather than the dishwasher. These minor things will help keep the cookware in beautiful condition for years. We love this cookware very much. It is of the best quality and we love it.

Favorite pan

This has quickly become my favorite pan to cook with. So versatile and the perfect size to cook meals for a family of 4 + a few extra of our kiddos friends.

HUGE Pot/Pan

I purchased this because long ago I had seen a Rachel Ray fish pan and thought it was very jazzy. I found this one on Amazon and decided to splurge. It was not the same, but still jazzy... most likely due to a fault in my memory to be fair. I decided to give it a try anyways, even though it was HUGE! I am not entirely thrilled with my decision as I have a small house storage situation and it takes up a lot of real estate. Although it is quite adequately dishwasher safe, it takes up the entire lower basket on an angle to barely fit. It could never be put in an oven due to the type of plastic on the handles, so don't even think about it. (Not an issue to me, but I know some cooks may try). The oval shape is pleasing, and fits 2 small to medium catfish to fry side by side, but the bow and stern of the pan do not fit on the largest of my glass top burners. Cooking wise it was decent, but took MUCH more fry butter than my Calphalon Analon pans. A positive is that there was hardly any splatter to Clean afterwards which was one of the reasons I kept it. So success on that. The lid does not have a blowhole. Bottom line... I think it's quite a nice pan if you can accommodate the size and have use for it. I still like it, but I wish it were just a tad smaller, so if I can find on just a bit smaller or Calphalon fulfills my dreams and makes a version, then I will trade up. It's not a 'dis'... just be sure you know what you are getting. Still jazzy.

Ok Pot

Thought this would be a good purchase because it’s Rachel Ray. The lid falls easily into the pot and the pot slides easily on my gas burners. The bottom is scratched from the sliding.

Fantastic investment!

I know I’ll use this for years! I bought this to replace the Rachael Ray enamel non-stick pot of the same size/shape. That was my go-to pot for EVERYTHING from cooking long pasta, to making large-batch spaghetti sauce, chili, stew, etc.

Versatile

This is our second Rachael Ray pot. They are so versatile and durable. We still have our first pot that is now 8 years old that we use for the bbq now. They are a bit pricey but they do come on sale every so often.
