Die unzerstörbare Leine von VirChewLy besteht aus leichtem, flexiblem, unglaublich starkem, vinylbeschichtetem Stahlkabel mit einer Mindestbruchfestigkeit von über 900 Pfund. Da Hunde nicht über die richtigen Schneidezähne zum Schneiden von Stahl verfügen, ist es nahezu kau-, bruch- und verhedderungssicher. Es ist außerdem rost- und geruchsbeständig. Die Leine verfügt über einen abnehmbaren Griff aus extrem starkem, bequemem 1-Nylongewebe. Die Walk-n-Lock-Anbindefunktion sichert Ihr Haustier ganz einfach an einem Pfosten oder Baum. I thought I was being original when I came up with the idea of using this as a seat belt (with a harness) for my dog who chews through just about everything, but I see others were way ahead of me! I clip it to the headrest in the backseat, and it keeps my dogs safe and our of the front seat :) The 23" was great for my 65 lb. whippet dog; she can sit, lie down, or put her head out the window with ease, but I've had to order the 30" for our chocolate lab. The 23" works great for a "leash on the go"... I simply clip them to my fanny pack when I walk the dogs in the woods, and I have a leash at the ready if needed without the bulk of long leads or traditional leashes. It's just long enough to tether them to my side. It really does seem indestructible, except for the plastic coating on the outside (and handle, of course, but I remove that when I put them in the car. NOTE: I needed to buy extra stainless steel, heavy duty carabiners to fit around the headrests), which my puppy easily chewed, but the leash itself is still intact I find the price exorbitant, but it does exactly what I need it to, so I guess it is what it is. I can't put a price on the safely of my fur babies. For that reason alone, I have to highly recommend this product.

USA made, best leash.

I have owned my original leash for 14 years now. Still works great. I have only large dogs and purchased this as a second leash as I currently have 2. This is the strongest leash on the market and for me, although my dogs don't chew them, I had to have something reliable as you never know what can happen. I have no doubt in my mind that this leash will hold up and never break under the worst conditions and security for my animals is most important. Thank you for an amazing product and please continue making.

Favorite Leash!

I bought this leash for my little Corgi Girl. It is short (18 inches) which is perfect to help keep her walking next to me. This control helps to keep her focused on the walk and not pulling on the leash. This leash is of excellent quality. Heavy duty! I'm afraid I won't be able to buy a new leash for her for the duration of her time with me. I usually buy a new one annually. I've had no issues with her leash, however, there were a few stray metal fibers on the black one I bought for one of our other pups. This made leashing and unleashing a little painful on my fingers. This was solved when I attached it to her walking collar and quit clamping/unclamping. I have no complaints. You will get your monies worth with this leash. I cannot recommend them more. :)

Is chew proof- too short for dog to lay when clipped somewhere

I use this for my dog when we go out. This way she stays close. Shes not a bad chewer, just when very bored. She mostly pulls at it because its not long enough for her to lay down when I have it clipped somewhere like a shopping cart. The leash works well for what its designed to do- however I think it needs to be noted that my dog has left tooth impressions on the leash. I did contact the company about making a custom length as I felt a leash that was a few inches longer would be better. They said they would make it but would charge the price of a full length leash. As each leash is "hand made" I thought this was excessive since they would just cut it longer.

Yep, can't chew through it

We have a big dog, I mean BIG. He chews through everything. He kept destroying leashes so I got one of these. He definitely cannot chew through this and if he eventually does it will be a long time from now and definitely worth the cost. Pros: Can't chew through will attach to most any standard leash comes with a basic handle well built, seems extremely durable. Some Cons: Limited lengths. length makes handle not very practical (even with the longer option), attach to another leash instead something about the coating makes my dog think it's one of his toys and he actually chews this more than other leashes

Successfully Holds up to Puppy Chewing

This leash is short (which I expected from the description) but so far has held up to my puppy's chewing. I keep her tied up at night in my room to control her roaming and this solved the problem of her chewing herself loose. My only complaint is that the metal pieces clunk and clank a lot, but I paid for sturdy, not silent.

Best Leash Available

This is a lead (shorter to keep your dog close to you). Sturdy leash, yet lightweight. Love the length for my 70 pd dog, keeps him close but still allows a bit of play. I also use it in the car hooking the black nylon handle into a seat belt. Very convenient for exiting the car as well since he is already leashed. Definitely the choice for trips to the vet The ability to detach the handle has also been a plus. We have used the lead with a flexi leash and with a tie cable. This is an outstanding product.

My Puppy is now Under Control!

I like to take my puppy to volleyball with me, but she likes to get attention from the players. So, she continuously bites through her regular leash (several times!). One of my teammates suggested this leash, so I purchased it. It works really great, but I bought the 30 inch and is pretty limited in length. Other than that, it serves its purpose. Very well made, and reasonable in cost.
