Good value, but not the best soap
Scale of 1 - 5 Smell 4 Size 3 Lather 4 Rinse 3 Value 4 I'd buy this over the big name brands for quality and value, however I also bought the Bravo Sierra brand soap and found it to be better to my liking.

Best soap on the market!
Just want to say thank you for making such an amazing product. Compared to the other brands such as Duke and Sasquatch, you have them beat by a mile. Not only is it half the money of those brands, it works wonderfully in the shower. Rinses off clean and no soap scum on the walls. Keep up the great work. Signed Customer for Life.

Contains soy oil
I have a soy allergy, and didn't expect this soap to have soy in it. I like the scent, but I personally can't use it because it irritates my skin, which is a shame, because for most people, this would be a great lower cost replacement for a competing brand of men's soap.

Just very small not right for the money
It's too small. Think was overcharge. I bought soap that was larger for same money that did same thing

Purchased as a gift for my dad. Smells nice. He liked the clean feeling.

Effective But Expensive
My wife loves the smell of this product, so I buy it and use it for that reason. I have dry skin and this doesn't seem to offer any moisturizing capability. It's also about $1 more expensive than a similar product that I can buy at the grocery store.

Great For Sensitive Skin/Hyperhidrosis Funk and Menopausal Issues!!
UPDATE: finished my last bar I had stashed. It only had patchouli scent for the first few washes. WHEN REVIEWERS SAY IT’S COATED IN THE SCENT VS THE SCENT BEING INFUSED THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE BAR? THEY ARE CORRECT!! THEY MUST’VE CHANGED THEIR FACTORIES TO PRODUCE JUNK THAT INITIALLY SMELLS GREAT THEM LOSES MOST ITS SCENT. What a rip-off. Stick with Dr. Squatch, they’re honest!! EDIT: they just raised the price from $6.99 to $9.99!! Ya’ll just LOST ANOTHER CUSTOMER. $10/every couple weeks for a bar of soap that still contains lye is a total rip off  Greedy much? NOT JUST FOR MEN!! I really dislike this type of advertising. We all have skin and issues. I have hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating all over/every day no matter the weather) and just started peri-menopause w/gross hot flashes that last most of the night. Yay :/ I also have sensitive skin and anything with sulfates dries my skin out to the point I itch horribly. I’ve been using all natural soap for about two decades now and can tell when a soap is what it claims. It’s great that truly natural/cruelty-free soap is now widely available in so many options compared to when I was in my 20s and only had a few mediocre options that I was never truly happy with. This is good stuff! I’m a fan of patchouli/woodsy scents and this bar has a very mild and pleasant natural patchouli scent to it. Definitely unisex. You won’t smell like a “dirty hippie”. It doesn’t affect my chronic migraines at all. It leaves a nice, light lingering scent after rinsing. And my skin approves. The first couple times I used the bar it felt kinda odd. A waxy type feeling as I showered with it. But I got used to it and noticed it helps with the perspiration issues I have. It doesn’t control it, but it leaves a nicely scented film on my skin that has REALLY helped with reducing the un-fresh feeling I get. I only get B.O. on my pits/crotch but I do feel like I have a patina of sweat everywhere else. This soap has drastically REDUCED THE FUNKY FEELING on my arms/legs/torso/hands. It’s difficult to describe but I’m impressed and it’s currently my go-to deodorant bar for my final wash (I use a couple different bars each shower). This bar isn’t as soft/melty as the description/reviews state. I store it in my shower on a slotted rack that drains all the water and the bar is lasting just as long as my other natural soap bars. So don’t be turned off by statements that it melts very quickly. Just keep it in a slotted soap dish/shower caddy. A bar lasts me about a month. I bought the Pine Tar version for my friend with bad eczema flares and he’s happy with it. Was buying him “Grandpa’s” brand and he no longer buys “Grandpa’s” after using this one and will stick with this brand instead now. This brand feels/smells better to him. He also uses it as his shampoo and it helps his dandruff sitch. It’s not horribly pricey for the size, how long it lasts and especially its benefits. It’s a bit big for my small hands (size 6.5 in gloves) so I cut it in half with a butter knife and mallet. I definitely try to take advantage of any promos/coupons they have and prefer supporting small businesses. **Wish they had way more promos** tho or will consider lowering the price point a bit. At about one bar a month it’s roughly $85/yr which is a bit rich for my budget. I do wish it was more moisturizing and scented a bit stronger but definitely not deal breakers. Wish I could buy this scent in a body/linen spray!! **hint hint**

It's just too expensive
So, this is my first foray into this cold-pressed soap thing. This is for the Fresh Aloe scented bar. A friend had claimed that his bar of soap lasted for almost a month - WOW! So did my bar last as long? No...not even close. I would've been happy if I could get 20 - 25 showers on a single bar. I only got...six. This stuff costs $6 - $8 for a 5 oz. (as described - I have not confirmed with a scale). A bar of Lever 2000 (Cucumber and Aloe) - my go-to soap - is 4 oz. for a single bar and costs a little under $1, and I get 4 - 5 showers per bar. A bar of Dial (Icy Aloe) is 4 oz. for a single bar and costs over $1 per bar, and I got 8 - 9 showers per bar. I use a wash cloth, and I take lengthy showers that are 15 - 20 minutes - no, they are no splash & dash type showers. I get pretty grimy and sweaty due to my occupation, so this is a good workout for any soap. As much as I like the Lever 2000 product, the "new" (paper wrapper, not older cardboard box) soap formula does not lather well and doesn't last too long - see above. The Dial product, on the other hand, lathers very well and lasts surprisingly for a 4 oz. bar. This cold-pressed soap lathers slightly less than the Dial soap; it does lather a lot better than the Lever 2000 soap. My water is moderately hard, so those with softer water (or good water conditioners) should experience better lathering. The scent of the Fresh Aloe is natural and smells like "vegetation." Best I can describe the scent is that it smells like watermelon rind, since we just went through watermelon season. The scent is very mild and not overpowering like most mass-produced consumer soaps. This explains reviews that mention the soap not having too much scent. This soap does moisturize a little bit, but it does not leave a film like Dove does. I don't know if it's the aloe ingredient, but I used it when I had a bunch of cuts on my arm and was surprised it didn't sting as much as I thought. In fact, this Fresh Aloe felt like it helped heal all those cuts. Bottom line is that I was disappointed the soap didn't last longer; for the price it's just too expensive to justify it's purchase - maybe if I had more disposable income, this would be a no-brainer as the soap itself fits most of my needs. This stuff costs 4x - 6x as much versus the Lever 2000 and Dial products I already use, when factoring in how long each type of soap lasts! I would be willing to pay $2 - $3 per bar as a fair price, but not over $5!
