Purchased for posters, works very well
I got these rolls of double sided tape to put up my school club's posters outdoors and in classroom buildings. In both settings, this Scotch tape works really well. I also love that you can very easily remove the tape from the roll (which isn't as common with thicker double sided tape, which you need to tear yourself or cut with scissors).

Holds great but hard to clip and peal
Holds well but repositioning is not as easy as stated. hard to "rip off" a piece with dispenser. Need scissors for best edge.

Dorm life, life saver
I use this in my dorm to stick up photos, postere and even a calendar! Sticks extremely well if let to dry and attach. Nothing so far has fallen down which is amazing! My suggestion is to clean the area you want to apply before hand using rubbing alcohol. Then once the area is dry go ahead! Amazing!

Perfect for posters and hanging decorations; does not damage paint
I bought this to put up some posters as decorations for a party. It works for that, and I had a lot left over so I used it for another party to hang swirly ceiling decorations. It never pulls off paint, and it is strong enough to hold up common decorations. Excellent product!

Works for lightweight, thin posters consistently. Otherwise...
I've been using this product for about a month, fiddling with it and trying to keep posters hanging on the walls. It worked for all of my posters except the ones made out of thicker paper. It kept falling down despite having many pieces of tape all over it. When I tried to take the tape off, some of them took pieces of the poster with it. I wouldn't use this with any special collector's item. It comes off of the walls just fine though. If if it's a cheap, everyday poster that is printed on thin paper, then this will work well. At least it has so far, for me.

Eh
It works for the most part. On the majority of my posters this product works fine. I have a few canvas posters that the tape will not stick to what it will stick to the wall so far none of them have fallen down so I guess that’s OK. An issue that I have with this product is that it’s extremely tedious to separate the tape from the protective layer thing. It takes me like 10 minutes just to peel them apart so I can hang stuff.

Brilliant product.
I use this tape to attach semi permanent placards and notices. it is quite thin so does not cause lumps under the placard. It sticks well but can be removed by peeling away without damaging the paint or leaving residue.

Not sure about this
Used this to stick Xmas decorations on to shelving. It stuck to the shelf OK but tinsel fell off within a few hours. Would not buy again

Good stuff, but be sure to let the tape stick to the first surface for a bit before peeling paper.
It's a bit fiddly if you try using the dispenser cutter due to the paper backing, but if you use scissors, it works fine. Helpful hints: Be sure both surfaces you want to stick together are squeaky clean. Stick the tape (with paper on) to the "base" you are attempting to stick something to, smooth firmly and leave for a minute. Then, carefully *push* with your fingertip from one corner and the paper should start to curl up. If it doesn't (if the tape comes with the paper), just stick it down again and hold your hand over it for a few seconds to warm it up. Once enough has curled up, you should be able to peel the rest of the paper off. The tape tends to want to stick more to the surface than to the paper, so unless the base surface is greasy or extremely slick, it should work fine. Now you should be able to attach whatever you want to stick to the base (or wall). I have even had success (using the tape every 18 inches) with hanging a fleece on the back of an open bookcase, so it will stick to fabric as well. Good luck!

This stuff is marvellous - does what it says on the tin. Why isn't it on sale in Europe - or do we have to wait for TTIP?
