Much Better than Copper Pipe
I'm guessing when our house was built, the dishwasher water connection was done using 3/8" copper tubing. We just purchased a new dishwasher and when I pulled the old one out, I noticed the tube was kinked at different places, perhaps as the dishwasher was pushed into place. I straighten it out as much as possible and tried to get the new dishwasher in place, but it was just not easy to do without bending and re-kinking the line. So, instead, I decided to order and wait for this braided stainless-steel dishwasher water line to arrive. As soon as it arrived, I connected this new line…just took me a few minutes…and got the new dishwasher in its place. No water leaks, no kinks; in short, no hassle. Note: There are a few people here asking if they should use Teflon tape, also known as plumber’s tape, at connections; the answer is no. The line incorporate seals at both ends to allow for a leak-free installation.

Exactly what I needed!
Originally had to piece together two because I couldn’t find one long enough at the box store. Of course after a few months that decided to start leaking at the connection because I couldn’t find a decent coupling. I tried several! So when I found this, it was a Godsent! Had no problems with the connections on the ends, they fit perfectly and I don’t have to worry about a stupid splice leaking now. And it was cheaper than the 6ft sections at the box store. Wish I had come on here sooner.

Long enough and great quality
Very nice water supply line for my new dishwasher. The old dishwasher was connected with a very short piece of copper tubing. I could not even pull the dishwasher out because the tubing was so short. I had to disconnect it from the shut off valve before I could get it out far enough to remove the power cord and the discharge line. This new hose is plenty long enough and appears to be extremely well made.

Does what it's supposed to do as long as you're cautious
I decided to become a DIY appliance repairer when our dishwasher recently bit the dust. I ended up having to replace the supply line without knowing much about the different types and materials I could get. Unfortunately, my first attempt at replacing the line with this stainless steel line resulted in a punctured line. There are a lot of sharp edges under a dishwasher, and with just a little bit of tugging the line snagged on a piece of metal under the dishwasher and started spraying everywhere. I just wished it was a bit more durable for someone like me that needed a material with a bit more give for a newbie.

Adapter was not compatible with new dishwasher connection...
I know it's my fault for not researching the required adapter first, but the brass adapter that comes with this was not the proper size. The new dishwasher came with a 'garden hose' size (3/4") attachment, so I needed to make another trip to Home Depot to purchase the proper 3/4" adapter. Also, I was aware of the length of this hose prior to ordering, but when your dishwasher is next to your sink cabinet, you do not need a hose that is this long. I now have a a serious roll of hose taking up room in the back of the sink cabinet. Just two things to think about...

Elbow was nice but I didn't use since I had one in ...
This 10ft length just made it from kitchen sink to dishwasher. This replaced a plastic hose that popped out after bumping into many times over time and nearly destroyed my wood floors, luckily I was home when it happened. Don't mess with dishwater hook up, get this braided steel hose if you need the length. Elbow was nice but I didn't use since I had one in place already. Could not find in stores and its worth it ....

10 ft Dishwasher connector
Unbelievably difficult to find a braided hose for your dishwasher that is longer than 8 ft. The 8ft one that I had originally purchased was $18 there might have been another 10 ft one for $30. The other hoses did come with the dishwasher elbow though. This one comes with the elbow that is pictured, which doesn't work with my dishwasher. I bought a dishwasher elbow, which was about $6. Everything is working as it should.

Brass Elbow was missing
The package arrived intact and there were no holes in the plastic bag. However, there was no Brass Elbow included, even though the label includes that in the description. The cable looks fine but the missing piece means I've got to go and find that piece before I can complete my repair.
