Very easy to read and set up

Very nice and basic indoor/outdoor temperature station. It is not obnoxious looking and the display is large enough.

Works great

I needed to put this in my sun room. The sensor must be placed outside. I took a chance and placed the sensor in a sandwich size baggie because the sensor is not waterproof. Thermometer work great.

Temperature is one degree off, but otherwise works well.

I had both sitting on the counter for over a week, next to each other. One degree off all week. I guess it was close enough, but it should have shown the same temperature.

The Acurite brand is by far the best. We have several of this thermometer for different applications. They all work well for years without any issues.

Works very well

This is my second one. I liked the first one so much I got another one for our motorhome. It is a nice compact size and the outside transmitter has never lost its signal, even at a relatively long distance. Very nice.

It's Simple

Did not want anything extravagant just the temperature! Did not need a clock and all the bells and whistles. It DOES show the low and the high for the day, all I needed.

Water resistant not water proof

This would get a 5 star rating IF the outdoor BT sensor was waterproof. It is listed as water resistant. For an item that is meant to be left outdoors why is not waterproof? I have vacuum sealed the sensor and placed it in a plant pot as it cannot be hung from a string with it being sealed. Gave the battery life 5 stars but we haven't had it long enough to know the battery life yet.

Accurate

Easy to set up. No issues with the signal from the exterior unit as it works flawlessly and appears to be accurate with the temperature reading.

I have other accuweather products so have faith in the brand. This model is fine but you can get a larger colour screen model from costco for about the same price. Mine was a gift but I'd recommend going to Costco if you have a membership.

It is -30 C here in Canada and this is showing -30C.

I am please with the accuracy of this unit. Pros: Accurate for such a unit; price is OK; can see it well with the lights on; seems to work in the cold OK with non-lithium batteries; simple display that has what one needs for indoor/outdoor temp. Cons: Sensor placement is critical in that it must be 100% sheltered; slow to respond to rapid changes; no backlight. All in all I am happy with this. We will see how it holds up. I have only had it two weeks.
