Just the right size, Not too large, Not too small
This weather station is just the right size, not too large, not too small. It is easy to read from about 12 ft away. However, it only shows the temperature, not humidity nor barometric pressure, but these features are not essential. Final thought, it does take a couple of days to learn. If it goes crazy, change to another frequency.

Mostly good, clock is bizarre
This is a nice unit, the right size for me as I can read it from across the room. The temps seem to be pretty accurate. I have another indoor-outdoor unit and they are always within a degree of one another. I find the display harder to read at a slight angle than other devices with similar displays. I do wish it was back lit as it easily washes out when it’s bright in the room. The puzzling thing is the clock. I set it manually and it seems to keep good time. Some days later I’ll find both the time and the date are wildly off - the last time it was two years off on the date and 10 hours off on the time. The time zone and dls are set correctly. It’s as though it connects to the time service in Colorado and updates to completely wrong values.this has happened multiple times. Very annoying. Update: at the suggestion of the company response here, I messaged the support group at Acurite. Since it’s been a few months over a year (purchased June. 2021), they declined to help and said we have no suggestions other than to buy a new one. And I was told there’s no way to turn off the updating. Disappointing. Update. As someone suggested in the Q&A section, when the clock gets off I put it in a north window and over the course of a few hours, it does reset to the correct time and date. Seems odd that the signal from Colorado can’t make it another 20’ across my house must be a weak signal

Reliable, Easy to Read, Great Support
I'm on my third one of these clock/weatherstations (the cats knock them off the table, not a product problem!!!). They are easy to assemble/set and accurate. I did have a question about the shipment and received an immediate response for Acurite. Great product, responsive supplier.

Great item.
03-02-23: This is my 2nd one of these models. My first one I had for over 13 years and finally quit after me knocking it over so many times. Fairly easy to setup and this one adjusts to the daylight savings time switch. Nice large number on the display allow viewing from over 10 - 15'. There is no light, but during the day it is easily viewed and at night if you have a light on in the room where this located, it easy to read.

Accurate and easy to read
This was a gift for my hubby to put in his shop. It hangs easily and is easy to read with it’s large print. He is my ‘weatherman’ so it’s fulfilling duty.

Amazon has two different products under the same entry. This is for Monochrome.
I don't know why Amazon has to lump all reviews of totally different products together the way they do. In this case, there are two different weather stations, one with a monochrome LCD display, and one with a color LCD display. They are very different products, though the information they display may be the same. In history, it would be like reviewing a color TV and a black & white TV from the same manufacturer and lumping all of the reviews together. I'm reviewing the Accurite weather station with the monochrome display, 75077. This is what I wanted, ordered, and received. It was ordered to replace a failing Lacrosse weather station that has been operating for about nine years. The outdoor unit finally failed on that one and we wanted a replacement. I spotted the Accurite here on Amazon, and the price was reasonable at the time. It seems to have gone up quite a bit since my order of only a month ago. But prices fluctuate and I've lucked out with my timing. Initially, when I opened the package, I began to be disappointed. I've always liked the fact that the Lacrosse unit picked up its time from the National Institute of Standards and Technology's atomic clock. The Accurite does too, but it wasn't obvious on first examination. So once I figured that out, I was a lot happier. This unit also does not display information about the humidity like the Lacrosse did, but I never trusted the Lacrosse's reporting on that anyway. It always seemed wrong, so I'm not missing anything. The new Accurite has a nice feature where everyday, the high and low temperature for both indoors and outdoors are kept track of. So I can see that in the middle of the night, while sleeping, the temperature dipped to its lowest point of the day. This is useful here in Florida for spotting whether a freezing temperature was reached. I find the monochrome display easy to read in most lighting situations. The weather predicter has only been functioning for a month, so according to the manual, it's not yet had enough data to become more accurate, nevertheless, it seems as good as these things can be. Heck, meteorologists in Florida can't predict the weather very well either! Bottom line is that I'm happy with this model and would order it again if I needed to. I don't think I'd bother with the color one, based on some of the reviews here.

Display is a bit darker
The small hi-lo readout is hard to see if mounted on wall, but I'm using the kickstand and have it standing on a dresser. I've had one like this for 3 years and that one has a lighter readout and it's easier to see the small print. But I love it
