Nice quality.

I love the scalloped base The primary color is a bit of a sage green and beige with dark green leaves and small yellow flowers. Previously we had a modern black fixture. This new floral chandelier gives the room a brighter more cheerful look.

Smaller than expected but adorable, thanks for all the helpful installation tips from the reviewing community!

I picked-up this light on a whim. Considered returning it. But wanted to give the installation a shot. I truly appreciate all the reviewers taking the time to provide insightful tips - it made the set-up absolutely flow for me! So, I started by using the red carabiner to clip 'Part 1' (as ID'd in the written instructions) to my bike stand, which was key, in getting these tiered layers attached to each other. (By using my bike stand, I was able to assemble this mini-chandelier by myself. A little awkward, but possible.) I didn't by any means assemble this light in 20 minutes, but it was straight forward. Bc of other reviewers' mentioning how delicate the glass drops are, I definitely handled the tiers carefully, so that ensured no breakage. I also found that as I attached each tier, the long, narrow drops would fall on the inside of the chrome-colored ring, which ended-up turning out OK, because as each tier was successfully attached via the three hooks to the tier above it, I was then able to gently maneuver/relocate each clear drop from the interior so that it hung on the exterior of the chrome circle (with the chrome circles hanging horizontally). The installation would have definitely been a two-person job if relocating the glass drops was not possible! So those are my observations on the installation. As to the bulb, I only had a CFL light bulb on-hand, and it kind-of overtakes the light's delicacy as that its spirals can easily be seen through the glass drops, so next I'll re-read the reviews to see what bulb looks prettiest in this mini-chandelier. As to its size, yes, the measurements are listed in the product specs correctly, and yes, this light is indeed small...surprisingly small, so be aware that this light just doesn't have the width to be shown-off in a lot of space. (AF Lighting's website offers a bigger version of this mini-chandelier, FYI.) For now, I hung it on a ceiling hook next to my bed, and plugged it into the wall. If you choose to hardwire this mini chandelier, then you'll have to fully commit and cut the plug-in cord. What I like about this light fixture is that it provides a soft, inviting glow in the corner of my bedroom by my bed, but I don't think the light is bright enough to read by. If I stick with using this light as a plug-in, then I'll look for tips on how to best disguise the cord in the silver chain.

Feminine Beauty

Goodness this chandelier is beautiful! I’m very sorry I can only hang one. I wanted to change out the old droll light fixture in my daughter’s bedroom, and I wanted something to make her room extra feminine since her walls are a calming blue (she’s special needs, and the blue is a color therapy color). She’s a girly girl, so making her room feel girly with blue walls has been a bit of a task, but after bringing together her duvet, some lavender sheets, and a shabby chic pink rug, and still needed the touch of a chandelier. Voila! This is perfect! I will warn you, though, that this chandelier comes as a plug-in. Yes. It has a cord for plugging it into a wall outlet. I didn’t read about that because I assumed a chandelier would not be intended to plug into a wall. It does come with wire caps and the equipment needed to rid it of the wall plug and use the ceiling wires, but by GOLLY did it take forever to set up! FOREVER! I had to call my daddy to come install it. Daddy saves the day! It still gave him a bit of a fit as well, but he got it hung, and it looks beautiful. Perfect. Despite the headache I would buy it again if I had another room that needed it. Long story, well, still long I suppose, I recommend it with a word of caution that you need to know a thing or two about wiring before attempting to install it.

Beautiful But Oh So Hard To Put Together

This review is for the AF Lighting 4950-1 Crystal Teadrop Mini Chandelier Once you get it put together it is a very pretty piece. However, putting it together is a chore. I read the reviews before I purchased and realized it would not be easy. It is NOT. One review mentioned to hang it on something while you are attempting to fasten the tiers one to another. After breaking one of the fragile glass drops, I then hung it from my kitchen cupboard knob to finish the fastening of the tiers. That did help!!!! Another thing I did that seemed to help a lot was to leave the Styrofoam and packing material on the tiers while attaching one tier to the other. Cut a little packing material off around the top of the tier to give you access to the hanging hooks on the tier and then attach to the above tier. THEN take the packing material off the tier. Doing so will save you time in attaching the tiers one to another. The small round wire rings that attach to the tiers and glass beads are not strong and will pull apart from the tiers, causing the bead to fall. Be sure you put some soft padding under where you are working, it might help save some of the glass from breaking. I will be purchasing 2 more of these to finish the lighting above my bathroom vanity. I wanted to try one first before I committed to the additional expense. I do love the light BUT it is hard to put together.
