Dress, mid length and pretty

I had to return 2 dresses without trying them on as I was out of state when they arrived and by this time I had learned most size 10 are too small. A family member took care of the return. Grateful returns are so quick and easy.

This dress is a glitter bomb

I like Alex Evenings dresses and have two others in a different style. This dress I had to return. The biggest problem was that it sheds glitter EVERYWHERE. What a mess. Even if it fit perfectly I would not have kept the dress. The jacket is made of a somewhat stiff material that stuck out strangely in a couple of places. Not flattering like my other dresses from this maker.

color not as it appears

This dress is light gray. The color is listed as smoke which as a descriptor doesn't mean anything. The picture shows it as black or very dark gray. The worst problem with the dress is that it sheds silver glitter everywhere. Very disappointed with the quality. It looks very cheap.

It has adornments that appear to be glitter stuck onto the jacket for sparkle

I thought it was okay but was too big and the glitter did not give the professional special look that beading would. It might be okay for some people but as the mother of the groom I was looking for something special. I decided to return it for these two reasons.
