They serve their purpose well.
These are an excellent low-cost alternative to pricier Renaissance costume pants. It launders well and presses excellently. It is, however, a pair of costume pants and will not stand up to stage combat movement or a lot of physical activity. What they will do is look nice and authentic without costing you an arm and a leg.

Very disappointed in these knickers
Very disappointed in these knickers. I bought them as a last minute backup pair for our local ren faire. We are vendors, and you never know what is going to happen. They came ripped and broken on the right leg. They are also very square and tore about mid day. Overall I was expecting more quality from a name brand in costuming. The good: they came super fast. I paid for next day shipping, and they arrived on time. They look like the picture in they are a nice deep rich brown. The bad: the actual garment. They are straight knickers with no "ball room" as my husband would say. The stitching came apart around the waist and down the legs during half a day of wear, and upon arrival, the entire left bottom leg tie was broken. I would have returned this in a heartbeat if I didn't need to have them that day for the ren faire. The quality is so bad they didn't make it half a day at the faire. I can't imagine if we were moving or dancing around much. MOVE ON. These are not worth the price for a costume. The material does not hold up well, and the stitching is very poor quality.

These are ok quality, but don't expect them to fit unless you are a pretty small man...my husband is very tall, we thought they'd fit because they are capris, but they were WAY too tight in the crotch area...he couldn't even walk.

Cut very narrow
These pants are a straight box that have been hemmed.... they do not 'balloon' out like most pants of this style.... hip measures about 42" (the waist is also measures about 42")
