Higher sides reduces spatter compared to standard frying pans
I rarely cook with oils, but some foods still naturally generate hot and messy spatter. I'm using this as abnormal frying pan, with a higher sides, catching much of the excess spatter. All clad quality, good price.

I was hesitant until I was certain
ive been going through cheap pans the past few years and they all just end up being tossed in the trash after a few months. I was hesitant to bite the bullet on these since there are some mixed reviews. but I took the leap and im glad I got them. they've been great. im not sure whats going on with other bad reviews on these but my speculation is that they just dont know how to cook and clean. some people just only cook in extreme high flame only and dont wash and dry by hand. and those ore the folks im sure are running into issues. if you cook well and clean carefully they are going to last. they heat up pretty quick and evenly. I put them through regular usage - at least once per day. hand wash and dry. the really are on stick. I couldnt be more happier than the chance I took on these.

High in centers of both
I have always heard All-Clad is top of the line quality so I finally spent the big bucks for this set. Nonstick is wonderful and very easy to clean up. Love the sizes which are perfect for every day breakfast or larger for casseroles.Sadly noted that the first time I used each pan, all the oil collects around the edges away from the centers of BOTH pans. Are they not flat? I use a glass top stove. The pans don't wobble so they can't be warped. So why doesn't oil distribute evenly? Have requested replacements for both. Will update this review once received.

Poor Handle
They really need to change the handle on these pans, the pan will flip on you if you don't hold securely near the end farthest away from the pan. The pans themselves are great, non stick, & very durable.

Works great with induction.
Very nice fairy heavy cookware works great with our induction cooktop. Handle is a little awkward and uncomfortable, but that wouldn’t prevent me from buying more all clad cookware.
