Poorly shaped blade

While this product will accomplish the work of removing the vane and glue, it is sub-optimal. For Easton 1820 and xx75 NEOS arrows, it is both too wide and too deep of a blade curvature to make sufficient contact with the arrow. I end up fighting the blade shape to get effective surface contact. It is going into the back of the tool box for only desperate situations. I would recommend a similar, better known name brand.

Great quality product

This is a very good quality fletching remover especially for the price. It works great, no gouging whatsoever. Removes glue residue and leaves the arrow surface clear and free of damage. I've been thru all 3 blades without an issue. Id definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a budget priced fletching remover that performs as it should.

Extra blades included

Well designed, and works well to allow you to remove vanes or feathers for re-fletching. Also comes with a couple extra blades for when your first one gets dull.

Works as it is advertised.

Despite the bad reviews, I bought this fletch remover because the price was right. Long story short, if you use this tool as per the directions illustrate, it will work exactly as it should. Do not use aggressive force to remove fletchings, adhesive or wraps. Use firm yet controlled motion to scrape the material off, use the guide on the bottom side of fletch remover.

Works well. Best used for when you are replacing all fletchings as it's a little on the wide side and contacts the other fletchings when removing just one.

Good but not perfect

It helps clean most of the fetching, After about 100 arrows you need to replace the blade. It works best on metal not so well on wood

this item does not come with two extra blades. it comes with one blade installed, and "ONE" spare blade!!! Tool itself is fine, a little big and bulky though.
