Seriously I wish all my garbage cans were this good. I only wish I had found it sooner!!! Seems like a lot of money to spend on a waste receptacle but it is worth every penny. I purchased it to replace a little old thing without a lid. It is used in a bathroom right next to the toilet (mostly for wipes instead of flushing them).

Nice quality and big enough for a serious amount of trash
Stainless trash cans are great, but I have hesitated because most are so expensive. This is a generous size and well made. We bought this one for cat box scooping (it's a lot bigger and the bags are cheaper than Litter Genie) and it works great. No stink escapes and the top is wide enough to fit scoops of yucky stuff without making a mess. Just ordered another one for our bathroom trash!

Buy one
My dogs kept getting tissues and chewing them up from the bathroom trash. I finally got feed up because I don't like to close the door to the water closet. Problem solved. Plus the can has a pull out so when emptying it or cleaning it just comes right out and you don't have to deal with the lid.

Excellent value for the money!!!
Some reviews I read said it was flimsy but I found it to be quite sturdy. Looks good in my kitchen (for a garbage can) and holds quite a lot.
