Decent basics
Functional pockets, true to size for 3 year old (size 3), kid friendly colors. The dark blue fish print bled color though. Could be a bit longer to protect little legs from hot seats.

Not just for girls
Clothes for boys can be so boring sometimes (anyone else over sharks, footballs, and dino print?) so sometimes I have to get a little bit *creative*. I was originally going to buy these shorts for my daughter and get the boy checkerboard set for my son so that they could match, but my boy loves cars and the color pink so I thought, why not avoid the inevitable fight over these shorts and get him a set of these instead? I sized up and bought a sz S for my 3.5yo who wears 5T. I would say that they fit like the slightly baggy size 5T cat&Jack shorts that we have. Because of the adjustable waist, there's still plenty of room to grow. The shorts were a total hit with my boy. He immediately asked to wear the car shorts and hasn't taken them off since. Wish retailers would understand that not all boys want to wear camo and sports teams on their clothing!

Shrinks in the wash
My daughter went through this phase where she hates wearing everything so I finally got her these shorts and she liked the fit because I think the longer style doesn't run into her too-big underwear she now insists to wear. These are more loose-fitting than other shorts she has. She thought the iguana pattern was fun even though it's sort of crazy particularly for a girl short. These shrunk in the wash and so now they aren't as long but luckily she still wears them!

Cute, shorter than they appear
These are cute and fine quality, they have the appearance of being a little longer than they actually are. They shrink a little in the wash too. I bought 6 pairs in size 7/8 for my 7 year old and small nice year old daughter. No trouble with the waist being too big like we sometimes have with my 9 year old.

Cute but ran a little small
These were very cute shorts and I loved the prints but they ran small. They also seemed to shrink a little after washing. My daughter loves the elastic waist and the material. She hates certain fabrics but this one was approved by her.

Size up! Also...crabs?
I'm not sure who thought the "crab" design was crabs, but this Marylander begs to differ. Anyway, the shorts are cute, they have pockets, they're a good sturdy material, and they're a good length. It's really hard to find long-enough, comfy play shorts for girls, these come to my daughter's knees. These run small and shrink, though. Go up two sizes, and/or hang dry.

Whoever created these needs a promotion asap!
These are the best shorts! Real pockets and a real drawstring! My daughter specifically requested skorts or shorts with pockets so she could carry around all of her treasures. I need her to have a real drawstring on her shorts because she is skinny and nothing fits. These were the only shorts I could find that has both those things! Who knew it would be so simple yet so difficult to find little girls shorts with pockets and draw strings. Love these. To the designer who created these a big thank you! You need a raise asap!
