I was stoked to get this

So I have some fairly hideous carpet in the bedrooms of my apartment and it’s not really my fault that they are in such a hideous state, it’s the fault of a very outgoing puppy. And he’s so great at so many things but he’s no mr clean, his name is actually gummy bear. Imagine gummy bears and carpet and I think you can get a pretty coherent picture of the state of the carpets in my bedrooms. So I pop these bad boys in the provided spray bottle, swoosh and watch for it to turn the diluted light orange color and go at it; “it” being my carpet. And you know… it works! It takes effort for sure, and possibly renting a carpet cleaner to sort of do a second or third pass. But the carpet is slightly less hideous now for sure. Im eventually going to rip it up. But it’s a good quick fix. Also, I used this to clean up some stains on a pair of adidas sneakers and boy oh boy was that a breeze. I’d give it six stars for fabric stain removal!

I'll be buying refills and using again!

I bought the Hoover Spotless Portable Carpet and Upholstery cleaner from Home Depot and used it with the AmazonCommercial Dissolvable Carpet and Fabric Stain remover. A formerly lovely armchair upholstered in cream silk was used by an English Bulldog as a bed for months. I thought it would be a great trial run these products, as there was nothing to lose. My go-to carpet and upholstery spray has been Folex, but I wanted to try something with dissolvable refills. After liberally spraying an area I brushed it in with a soft brush, let it sit for a few minutes, then rinsed well with the Hoover until the water suctioned up had no suds in it at all. I used this technique after relaxing to car detail videos and seeing professional detailers spray, brush, and rinse/suction with clean water (in lieu of using cleaning solution in the Hoover's tank). It took a few hours to completely air dry. It turned out great! I used an entire bottle of AmazonCommercial spray and had to dump and refill six tanks of water to do the entire chair. Long, slow passes definitely work better than trying to rush. Put down plenty of spare towel to catch both the spray and the water as you rinse. The only reasons this gets four stars instead of five are the smell (not horrible, but needed an open window) and the super strong spray bottle that only sprays in a stream (makes it difficult to cover an area evenly).

Works great!

All cleaners I've gotten from Amazon works great, and this is no different. It really cleaned up my sofa after a recent spill. I was so happy! I cleaned carpet with it too. The price was great and it works!

Better than expected

Overall, I’m happy with the purchase. It seems to work as well as the oxiclean stain remover I normally use. I’m glad to not have to waste more bottles and the packet dissolved very quickly. the spray bottle isn’t my favorite, but it works.

Not that great

Nothing funny or fancy—the smell is strong. My dog ran over and peel on it as soon as I used it to clean—not that great.
