Fit perfect easy to replace

Replaced the Crome one that came with the toilet so it matched the brushed nickel fixtures. When you put it on, just make sure you have it set at the proper angle. Look at the other one before you take it off.

Shorter than the OEM trip lever but it is easy to fix

Yes the lever is shorter than the OEM. And yes the chain won't reach. But do not trip!. I added a little tie wrap between the chain and the lever and tightened it until there was a little slack in the chain (see the picture). You don't need to go buy more chain - that is a waste of time and money. Also, I have a FlowMaster 540 flapper and I will tell you that this thing is set to the minimum flush volume of like 2oz at the factory probably due to some EPA crap and it will not work at all at that setting with this new shorter trip lever. You will need to adjust this flapper to a middle setting (I used 6) and then it will work fine.

Different from Original on my 4021N Cadet 3,But Works.

This product is physically much shorter than original on the cadet 3 4021N tank. I was concerned about lever hitting top lid, but it did fit. Major chain adjustment required with very thin margin of error, But It Does Work and able to flush again.

Works but looking for one that is not plastic

The chain was a little too short but I made it work. I had to buy this one; because, it was all I could find. I wanted something sturdier. Works for now but will keep looking.

Worked for my toilet

This worked just fine for my Cadet 3 Toilet without any adjustments. The lever works just like the original that it replaced.

Worked out perfect. I agree it is short like others said but we had a long chain and it worked great.

Just what I was looking for

One star is taken off because the length of chain seemed to be bit short. I had to stretch it to fit the other assembly. Otherwise it is exactly what I was looking for.

Perfect replacement for the original

This part was not a 1:1 replacement to the original part, at least in my case

I ordered this part after looking up the part number from the American Standard catalog, just to be sure that I was ordering the correct part. When I received the replacement part and compared to the original one, it was obvious that it too short to fit and work the same as the original one. I returned the replacement part.
