Hard Sole

As others mentioned, it is a very hard-soled shoe. I thought that because I use my own inserts that I could make them work, and did, but it is noticeably harder than my other shoes.

Great wide width shoe!

This tennis shoe is light weight, very breathable, and wide enough for my 4E foot. I liked my first pair so much, I bought 2 more!

Off-brand Lock Laces will NOT come out

These come with elastic laces pre-installed, or at least mine did. This is not my first rodeo with elastics, and even so, I googled and watched videos when I couldn't get the ends off. I've used every screwdriver I own to try to pry them open - from both ends in case these are backwards - and I own everything from eyeglass screwdrivers on up. (FYI, there's no hole like with Lock Laces so it's not obvious where to put the screwdriver.) These are well and truly stuck, which means that (1) you can't use the other laces and (2) you can't shorten the elastic laces. Basically, this issue renders the shoes useless. Returning.

These arrive with different laces than shown. The ones shown are included also. Because these are somewhat stretchy, I found the to be just a little snugger than my other Apex sneakers.

Comfortable and Lightweight

Very comfortable and recommended by the mobility experts fitting my aunt for a small foot brace. The shoes are nice looking, lightweight, and comfortable on your feet - with or without the brace.
