Works very well on string algae

Good product to control string algae in water features. Does not seem to effect the moss growing on the rocks. Easy to use and does exactly what I need it to do.

Best Product Thus Far

My Texas water feature has a constant battle with string algae. I have to be careful with the products that I use because the water is frequented by birds, frogs, toads, opossum, raccoon, deer, cats, coyote, etc. The Aquascape seems to do a fairly good job hindering the string algae while keeping the wildlife safe. My wish is that it worked as well with green algae. Still the best and safest product that I have found over the last year.

Good product does what it says but read instructions

I am a novice when it comes to tending to a pond and this year has been my first experience trying to maintain. Our pond is constantly in direct sunlight so algae is definitely a problem. Aquascape does a good job of killing the algae but you do have to give it time. For someone like me who's still learning I probably use too much but I recommend following directions to the letter. I definitely do not recommend using it in a pond that has any plant life or any fish as it could be detrimental. Otherwise I think it's a good product.

After you get it you find out it can indeed kill fish.

I used it 3x in a row to get the first few inches clear for a 1000 gallon tank in a greenhouse. Seems a bit of effort for results. My fish survive with a solar pump but I added a 24 hour pump during the treatment. So the fish made it okay. I will keep working on this project.

Aquascape 96024 Algaecide Treatment for Koi Fish Ponds for first time use is working good.

Lots of rain and sun on the Koi pond this year and this product seems to live up to what it's used for.

Works great - see pictures

In less than a week we had noticeable improvement. Totally cleaned up in a couple weeks. Used very liberally at first to get things going. Now just a little to maintain.

My koi are not too happy

This stuff can't be too good for the fish. Every 3 days I add 2 teaspoons as suggested and then for 3 days they stay at the bottom. I have a 100 gallon pond but maybe I should bring it down to 1 teaspoon. Good news after a week the water is slightly clearer and know it takes some time.
