Effective & easy to use.
This product can be ysed as an underlayment or overlayment to orevent punctures of the liner. It is safe for the fish.

Worst liner with just problem over problem
This liner is thick yes. But the thickness does not speak to it's durability. I used this as a basin liner for a pondless waterfall. It is so stiff that it doesn't easily confirm to any curvature or shape of the basin. I tried to fold it neatly and put my water boxes in and filled everything up. The next day my water was almost gone and my pump almost went dry. It lastet exactly one day. I purchased a different liner from a big box store and felt the difference immediately. It was strong but very pliable and conformed to any shape. I would not recommend this as a liner for a water feature. Now off I go to repair my water feature.

Stuck together
One edge, on the longest dimension, was stuck together and extremely difficult to separate without damaging the liner. Once separated, installation was able to be completed.

Works well
This underlayment is larger than 10'x15'. It is more like 12'x15'. You can see how much of the underlayment sticks out from underneath the verified 10'x15' pond liner. I wish I measured the underlayment to verify the size. I expanded what I had originally dug for the pond based on the underlayment being the same size as the liner. The underlayment is nice and thick enough for going over the roots and clayey/sandy/hummusy soil. If I had rocky soil I would also it down a sand layer before this underlayment.

Solid product
The media could not be loaded. It seemed thicker than other reviews suggested. Very strong. I had to cut away some and the effort I had to put in makes me feel assured it will stop damage to my pond liner. I did cover it with sand before adding the liner.

Extra padding for kids
I bought a whole kit, but also got this to put under the pond area because our terrain is super rocky and sharp, and kids are most likely going to play in the pond. So far no holes! Shouldn’t be in the future either

A must have
Great product. Must have if using large rocks in your aquascape.

Holds up
Held up for the summer, did notice that fish would not survive when first deployed, possible chemical leach from the rubber. Took about a month before I could get fish to survive in the oond

Thick and Zesty!
Very thick and tough fabric. A bit tough to cut with A knife. Even a bit awkward with scissors. Seems very durable and tear proof. Provides a very nice cushion under pond membrane. Highly recommend.

Good landscape fabric
This landscape fabric (which I used under a pond liner to help protect the bottom side of the liner) was easy to work with and performed as expected.

I found this very thin
I found it extremely thin. I wasn't confident it would do the job so added some carpet underlay and lots of sand.
