Great watch for the money

I've had 3 of these so far. It's a great watch. The only problem I have with all the ones I've had is the band cracks and breaks within 5 years, and I've never been able to find a replacement that fits properly. Bottom line, the watch lasts but the band doesn't.

Exactly as pictured.

Nothing fancy to review... its a watch. Its thin enough to where it doesnt look like you are wearing a sundial, but also hefty enough that if you are a big guy like me, it looks like it belongs. For layman's scale, the band is about as wide as a standard construction tape measure, and the face is about the size of a table-spoon. So again, its on the big side, but not too big. Small frame people may not dig on this though. The light up function is a little dull, but it is readable. The timer and alarms work just fine. Nothing fancy, but nothing is wrong. Its an alarm. This thing does come with two different alarms. The timer is a timer. As for the water proofing goes, I have no idea. I havent tested that because I dont want to run the risk of it failing and me having to return this and get another watch. Honestly I am avoiding the potential hassle. So its anybodys guess. But for the money, the function and aesthetic of this watch are awesome.

Great watch, great price

Don’t understand why people spend a lot of money on casual watches. Dress watches, maybe, but not casual sports watch, no way. This is a great rugged attractive looking watch. I like the larger read out and simple uncluttered screen. Simple to use. Now a fan of Armitron watches. Better than the new Casio around the same price. It leaked when in water. This Armitron has had no issues in water

Nice Watch for the money

I was a bit uncertain about this watch, but must admit I was totally pleased after receiving it. Great size, fits perfect, easy to read display, and it was already preset to my time & day, etc so just needed to put it on. Great watch, nice looks, and very good price in my opinion. Thank You.

Bueno, bonito y barato

Este es un reloj de las 3 B's. El reloj es de tamaño grande (pensé que sería mediano); los dígitos tienen buen tamaño y son muy legibles. Los acabados se ven buenos, NO luce como reloj barato o corriente. El modo luz es muy vistoso y agradable a la vista. La hora militar sólo es el formato de 24 hrs. Tiene zonas horarias. Tiene dos modos de cronómetro (de cero en aumento, y también puedes programar un lapso y disminuir hasta llegar a cero). 5 alarmas. El círculo o esfera (lo que parecería una luna o un balón de basquetbol) es el modo PACER, que es una función muy útil para entrenar y poco conocida por los usuarios. Permite elegir un rango de 10 – 20 – 30 – 40 – 60 -80 – 120 – 160 – 240 – 320 bips por minuto. Por ejemplo, eligiendo 60 bips por minuto, el reloj emitirá una alerta sonora (un bip) para que te ayude a marcar el paso (pacer) de tu zancada al correr, por ejemplo. De este modo podrás mantener el ritmo y la intensidad del ejercicio. También se puede usar para completar una rutina de abdominales o cualquier otro ejercicio, con el objetivo de mantener el rigor, de modo que no te atrases ni adelantes! Me costó 316 pesos, no sé cuánto costará cuando estés leyendo esta opinión.

A big watch but looks good and works well

This is much bigger than I expected, but I guess it is a plus as the big bold digits make it much more legible. It is water resistant, I tested it by leaving it in a tall glass of water overnight without issue. Keeping great time, the alarm is loud and with 5 alarms, I can set multiple alarms to go off one after to make sure I am awake. The only down side is the silver paint on the bezel scratch up easily. But can't complain for the cost I paid. If Armitron can make a version in all black plastic, this watch will be perfect

Great Watch for everyday use and nightime to..

I am on my third one of these watches and they last a long time. The band after a long time and abuse can split and eventuallly the watch has to be replaced as you cannot get a replacement Band. Easy to reset , great for night viewing a nd has a second watch on it if you need a seperate time zone. Not heavy and very readable.Has timer and alarm etc. Great value and a great Watch..!!!

Great simple watch for work

Saw this watch on another guy and thought it was a new Casio Protrek Triple Sensor - I just couldn't read the name on it..So I memorized its look and tried finding it on line.. But I was able to also memorize the FONT of the name..even though I couldn't read it..I knew it looked familiar.. little did I know it was a simple Armitron at the fourth of the cost of my Casio Protreks and looks just as good.. I bought it for work cause I don't want to smash my Casio on the job.. and it's got a great visible display.. Just wish it had 24HR time display. And it does what none of my expensive Casios can't do..countdown from under one minute. You can have a countdown from 35 seconds to 10 seconds..etc.. Casios only go as low as one minute. Go figure.

Muy buen reloj deportivo

Este es un reloj que no solo se ve bien, sino que también se siente sólido. Es confiable y las funciones que tiene son más que suficientes, al menos en mi caso. Aparentemente la protección anti-golpe (anti-shock) que tiene no es meramente decorativa, ya que he tenido un par de percances, y como se aprecia en la foto, no solo el cristal está intacto, tampoco es posible apreciarle rayones grandes en el exterior. Lo considero un excelente valor por el precio, y pienso regalar un par en estos días.
