Smaller Than Expected
I think I meant to buy the 3 quart! Somehow I ended up ordering the 1.2 quart and it's much too small!! I looked at so many cookers and obviously somewhere I got confused as placed this itty bitty thing in my shopping cart. UGH! My last/current Aroma was a capacity of 8 cups, but was aluminum pot and steamer basket. 1 cup rice (2 cooked) in this older one required tipping the lid to not boil over. I can't even imagine what 1 cup (or 3/4c) will do in this lol. Also I don't understand the "rotating" inner pot to fit in correctly. I just placed in and it sits like it should. My older Aroma (same style as this) just sat in too. By the way my box came ripped and re-taped, but un-used. I'm assuming the last person wasn't happy either with the small size. I'm stuck with it since I cannot print off a return label. Oh well. Edited to add that I ran a test on regular white rice. I used one 3/4 cup of rice using the cup, rinsed a few times, as I normally do, added a pat of butter to rice cooker, a little salt and about 1 3/4 water. Once it switched to warm, I used the paddle to fluff and let sit another 10 minutes or so (5 on warm) lid on. Fluffed again and served. Not one bit of sticking whatsoever. Cooked the rice perfectly fluffy and no bubbling over or spitting out. I will continue to use for maybe up to 2 scoops of rice, soup, etc. Will try regular grits today for a "breakfast night" dinner.

Decent
The price seems high for a rice cooker but wanted stainless steel with steamer included. I mostly purchased this for my elderly mother who can no longer use the stove. It has one button so should be easy enough and can cook rice, steam and boil foods. I boiled some ground beef with vegetables for my dog. Worked out well. Then we made some rice and it switched to warm when ready. Seems like a good product so far. Comes with a measuring cup and a spatula that conveniently hangs on the side.

The Best!
I absolutely love this rice cooker, not only does it cook rice, you Will be surprised! Let this little stainless steel pot cook up a storm, I have boiled eggs, warmed up soup, cooked quinoa, steamed veggies while cooking rice, made Spanish rice with all the veggies, this is the best appliance in my kitchen. Perfect for meals to feed 2 persons plus leftovers. I highly recommend this rice cooker/steamer.

I really like the stainless steel inside
It is easy to clean, but let it sit in hot water for a bit - I like the no nonstick surface

Best little appliance EVER!!! Works year after year
My family has a few of these, the pots a perfect, quinoa and rice comes out perfect but must disconnect device from outlet after cooking is done or the bottom layer of grains will end up sticking or get dried up if left on warm for a long time if you forget to disconnect. Just set a timer to do that, like 50 mins after you turn this on. Also remember to turn the pot ON to cook after you put grains and water in, it's on the warm setting when you plug it in. I have forgotten to push the ON button down a few of times, then not able to have a side dish of rice as planned. I am from old school... less features makes for better longer lasting products. My favorite kitchen appliance in use every single day.

Works well, but often burns
Very simple and easy to use rice cooker. We picked it up mostly because of the stainless steel pot, and while it occasionally burns and can be a pain to clean, it's great for the most part.

Perfect rice cooker
I bought this because of the stainless steel insert, rather than teflon coated. The small size is perfect for me - easier to store - makes total of 6 cups rice or other grain. So simple to use. I find this design cleanest & easiest to use - basket comes out, lid completely separate so there are no nooks or crannies to collect muck. Perfect little rice cooker!

Really great rice cooker
This thing works amazingly. It's easy to clean too and I can use whatever utensil I have to get to the bottom. As long as you don't leave it on keep warm too long no rice gets cooked onto the bottom it's a great rice cooker. Got a Amazon warehouse in "good conditon" and it was brand spanking new very minimal damage to the box and had clearly never been opened or used

Like White on Rice
All in one beast. Amongst all the cooking gadgets I own, this is by far the most versatile and fun! Way more easy to use than my R2D2 Pressure cooker, it literally has one switch (warm/or cook). Perfect for rice, fish, ground beef, veggies, steak, dumplings, literally anything. The different compartments allow flavours to infuse and/or be kept separate. Wish I had this thru school, as would have saved $$$$. Now I’m just a boring rich adult.

Oil + 10 mins resting time
Best thing to do is fluff the rice after cooking and then let it sit another 10 mins. Put olive or grapeseed oil in the bottom first, then spices, then rice. Add some carrots corn peas frozen mix, adds a lot of flavour.

Replaced my old non stick rice cooker with this!
Bought this to replace almost 4-yr old non-stick rice cooker that already had scratches at the bottom. We know that Teflon is unhealthy that's why I'm happy to find a stainless steel alternative. Discovered this brand from a YouTuber saying this is her favorite stainless steel rice cooker. I was able to buy it cheaper from Amazon warehouse deals. It's just missing a measuring cup but that's not a deal breaker. I'm Asian so a rice cooker is used almost every day in my kitchen so to find a good quality one is important. I only cook one cup of rice each time and that will cook to equivalent of 2 cups of rice. I only eat 1 cup per meal and save the remaining rice for another meal. No burning and sticking at the bottom of the pan just as long as you keep it in the "keep warm" setting for a few minutes after cooking. Don't let it in keep warm setting too long either, unplug it. I can see some complains about starchy water spilling —> the rice needs to be rinsed before cooking this lessens the starchiness. Always rinse your rice thoroughly, until water is clear, to remove excess starch and then cook accordingly to the type of rice you're cooking and then you will get good rice! And oh this rice cooker fits nicely in my kitchen cabinet when not used which is great for saving kitchen counter space.
