Soothes

I was gifted a graco LX glider which I had been using prior to the soothe my way. We purchased another to send the LX to Grandma’s during the day. I considered purchasing another LX Glider but opted to try the soothe my way. First, this does make a decent bit of noise comparably but you can turn on the white noise and that erases some of the mechanical noise. If you read through the instructions (which I did not) you can save some headache assembling and it’s very straightforward with minimal mechanical know how. My little guy is ordinarily fussy and this worked for us. However so did the glider version granted with a slightly larger frame and limited options in terms of movement. I did worry that this wouldn’t be as raised up as the glider however I was happy to see that they are about the same height. I’m undecided about the amount of noise it makes but will follow up with graco to determine if this is normal functioning in regards to the mechanical noises or not.

Great Swing

If you are on the fence about buying this swing, just do it. It is on the expensive side but it is well worth it. My baby looks so much more comfortable in this style of swing as apposed to the ones with an “arm” that swings them from the top. It has several types of swinging to choose from as well as songs and nature sounds. The quality is great and it is very secure. I’m not saying it will work for every baby, but this has been a lifesaver for us and puts him to sleep in 2 minutes.

The vibration is very strong and loud.

When turning on the vibration on low. It sounds like there is a truck outside on. It's very loud. My baby doesn't like the vibration I think it's way to strong.

Best swing/bouncer I had purchased!

This is my second swing I bought of this exact one! I am currently expecting my 5th child and I went through a few swings through the years! I had a mama roo which was great until it broke after a year of use and I couldn’t justify paying for another one so I bought this one and it was better than the mama roo! Also because it’s a 2 in 1 swing and bouncer! My last one did have an issue which was quickly taken care of by Graco and their awesome customer service! I was not expecting to have anymore babies and got rid of all my baby stuff and surprise baby number 5 so I quickly purchased another! It is a must have especially if you have reflux babies! It has several different motions vibrations and sounds! It’s very quiet and very convenient! It is a tad heavy but with the bouncer function you just pop it off and move baby from room to room in the bouncer! This is definitely a parents must have for babies!

Best baby purchase yet!

I was torn between purchasing this swing and another higher end swing. Ultimately I chose this one and I am SO glad I did! It was easy enough for me to put together without any issue. The base can be kinda heavy, but considering it’s function that’s not exactly unrealistic. The seat detaches without much effort to turn into a rocker, which has been very handy especially if I need to go into the other room and want to take baby with. The seat can also attach to the base at different angles to fit into whatever area or nook you have the swing in. There are a ton of different settings to select for movement types - figure 8, Z, circle, etc. as well as a vibrating seat and various ambient noises and lullaby songs. The swing does have an auto off setting after a few hours. One thing I that does suck is I wish the cord was longer - other than that it’s great! This swing is probably the single most important thing I ended up buying for baby. I wish I had it for my two older kids! It has literally saved my sanity! I highly highly recommend!

Great for newborns in small spaces

This is quiet when running. The vibrating seat soothes my baby. Baby is not a huge fan of the seat motion alone without vibration.
