Works great with a shake table

Mu osteo-arthritis makes jgging a near=impossibility. My doc suggested a shake table for muscle toning. These bands are a terrific complement to the shaker. Muscle toning without the sweat is OK for this senior.

One of the only plastic clip models, thankfully no metal, decent resistance for bodyweight exercises

I stopped using exercise bands since most manufacturers changed how they're designed over the past few years. Most have metal carabiners or come in the rubber band style, with a thick band and no handles. I don't trust the bands not to break so I won't use exercise bands with any metal parts. I was content in just doing bodyweight exercises or using a medicine ball until I received these new balance exercise bands. These resistance bands remind me of the generic brands I used from a decade or so ago, built strong enough to use for semi-intense exercises and no dangerous parts. These bands feature a carabiner but it's plastic thankfully. I'm able to do modified bodyweight exercises with these and feel a good burn at the end of the workout. They haven't failed on me so far and I use them about 1x to 2x a week.

Good Quality for At-Home Workout

Higher resistance than most

I’ve used resistance bands for a few years, and these New Balance ones are different than other I have. First off, there aren’t any accessories in the box. It’s the bands, handles, a too short Velcro strap for when you wrap the band up for storage, basic instructions and that’s it. No storage bag, no foot straps. The bands themselves seem stickier than others. Other reviewers have commented on this, and I agree they make the bands harder to position (even out the length, or adjust it). That isn’t a huge deal though as one quickly becomes familiar with where to step on them, place them, etc. The handle grips are a nice soft plastic/rubber, a welcome change from the usual foam found in resistance band handles. No metal carabiners either for securing/attaching the rubber bands, and I like that. Instead you get a plastic clip, and I find it does a good job and is easy to use. These bands, when all are attached, have some of the highest resistance I’ve found in basic band sets. Keep this in mind, as depending on your intended use, that can be good. Overall, I really like this set. It’s a bit bulkier than others, but still compact and easy to store, travel with. Time will tell how well they wear but for now, I’m quite pleased.

Simple and typical stretching bands

My needs are easy, as I use these kind of resistance bands for stretching only. They are a little longer than I hoped for and I find myself grabbing them lower down on the bands themselves when I’m stretching my legs in the sitting position. I always found it hard to find the center on all brands like this I’ve tried, so I’m used to a little extra “ centering “ time . The clips are easy to remove or add, although I keep all three on at all times as it is not very hard to stretch them all. The bands feel secure, but over time it’s inevitable that one will pop and hopefully you won’t catch it any place tender. But that’s what you get for 20 dollars , so I’m not complaining at all. They are sufficient for my needs and for the price, I’ll get a few years usage out of them. And I’m a New Balance sneaker guy too, so it’s all good ????????

I'm new to resistance bands, and these work well for me. Easy to use, lightweight.

I'm completely new to resistance bands, unless you count using my fingers to make rubber band launchers as a kid. This set comes with a small instruction booklet, but I found the best way to learn how to use them properly was to find instructional videos. You know where to search. There are three bands of varying strength, so this makes a total of 7 different strengths you can use by removing one or two bands from the handles. They are light, medium, and heavy bands, and you can also do light plus heavy, light plus medium, medium plus heavy, or all three together. This creates a variety of "weights" you can use with these handles. The handles are large and feel comfortable to me. The bands are heavy enough for my use, but I had a friend over who is a gym rat, and he felt they were not good enough for him. The bands clip on and off easily, but since each of the suggested exercises involves stepping on the bands, I've taken a shortcut and simply step on the band or bands I want to use leaving the other(s) floating freely. It has worked well for me. I'm happy with this product. It is reasonably priced and am surprised to have a name brand product at this price level.

Great set for traveling.

This set is perfect for traveling. My husband is an avid hunter, who loves bow hunting. He started having some pain in his back related to his bow, so he started using my resistant bands to help strengthen his back. Since he works in pipeline and travels constantly, I’ve been frustrated with him borrowing my gym equipment and leaving it at his travel trailer. This three pack is great as it it’s easy to travel, you can use multiple bands that wants to give additional resistance, floorlength, and comfortable grips. I would make sure that the workout routine you’re doing requires this length of resistance band. We have a peloton app and they have workouts that are compatible with this resistance band size.
