Cheap desk option, but holds up
The desk came in a very large and very heavy box. I had to get a trolley to move it to my apartment. The box was destroyed and mangled. Once I opened it, it fell apart, because the tape was the only thing holding it together. Biggest issue: The thing came with NO instructions! Literally not a booklet anywhere to be found. I had to have this desk assembled within 3 days for my job. I could get no response from their support group. I continued to get no response until 3-4 weeks after I had emailed them. (By which time I already had the desk assembled) Amazon support was no help. They told me to return the product, of which I didn't have a box to return it in, nor did I have the time, or manpower/strength to get it put back into packaging. Not to mention, I do not own a truck. So I had no way of getting it to a place that could ship it. I asked Amazon if the delivery truck, could take it from my mail room. They said it was possible but unlikely. I had to go through 5 support agents just to have them refund half the price of the desk so that I could hire one of the Amazon contractors to come out and build the desk. (At which point I would have still broken even, as the amount refunded cost the same as hiring someone to make it for me) After getting off the line with Amazon support, I go to hire the contractor, and they are booked out an entire month. So I was still in the same predicament. Eventually I just accepted that this desk became an adult puzzle. So I got to work putting pieces in places and trying to see if it worked or not in that way. After doing this, I managed to put it together in a day. (That is it took me 4-8 hours). Another thing to keep in mind, there seems to be 2-3 iterations of this desk that get shipped out. So in reality there was only one review that contained images that could help as a frame of reference with this issue. And I couldn't make much out from it unfortunately. So after laying everything out and making sure it made sense, and checking that I had screws for each part, etc. I was able to piece it together. You do want a drill! One with a longer Philips driver, and one with a longer Allen driver! There are some deep or embedded areas that you have to try and get stuff screwed in. And there only holes for the screws, it doesn't seem like they were predrilled, but just punched a hole there for you to know where to put it. So trying to do it by hand will take a long time. Now, the actual top of the desk/"wood", is cheap. Like all the other reviews say. It is like an MDF material. I was fortunate enough to not have any damage on my wood. (Surprising despite the packaging fiasco) Some of my screws didn't seat or hold in it, so I had to use glue to try and get parts to stay. Fortunately it was just parts like the basket, and power supply, nothing structurally integral. I am 6'1 and this desk in standing mode is just a hair too short at its max settings. The feet do have adjustable pads, so you can increase the height manually by about an inch, though good luck manually leveling it out. The desk does support my 3 Monitors on a monitor arm, my laptop, and all my other fancy desk peripherals. I bought extra cable management tools to help keep wires underneath and on top organized, as they don't provide enough for your items. Just enough to manage the desk's wires. The sketchiest part of this desk, is trying to get it to stand/sit. It seems that not all the motors engage at the same time, so the desk is always trying to level itself out as it goes up and down. It is also really wobbly looking during the process. When standing, it seems to be fine, but I try not to put too much weight on it. I am especially careful not to lean on it. Overall, the metal structure seems really well made and high quality. I would honestly suggest buying this desk just to make your own standing desk. The base and standing motors work well enough to just replace the wood on top and make something that works for you! The entire desk itself is cheaper than a lot of DIY motor sets advertised online for making your own standing L-Desk. And at the 330 LBs limit, it seems to be a good competitor in that space. Overall, I realize that I got what I paid for, but things could have been a lot worse, and overall I am happy at about a month into using it. Just expect to get no help from the seller or Amazon if something goes wrong.

Good desk, bad mount for the controller.
I had been using this desk for less than a week when the screws holding the controller came out, and I found the controller hanging by the wires. I replaced the screws with plumbers tape across the controller that I riveted to the frame, and that creates a solid hold, but one star does come off for a design that relies on screws in a high-vibration environment. The desk itself is fantastic.

fantastic desk!
The media could not be loaded. I love this desk a lot. it’s definitely sturdy. it’s not loud when switching from standing to sitting and putting it together was so incredibly easy, you just need to have some space to really get it together. i’m able to fit this desk nicely in my studio. the reason i’m not giving it 5 stars is because i do find the desk to be a tad small for the price. it is a quality desk, i just wish i had some more space on it length wise. if you are at your desk a lot, a standing desk needs to be mandatory for your health. ???? no blood clots gang ????????????

Really solid desk!
The media could not be loaded. Height is good for me I’m 5’7. It gets high enough for my to put my elbows on it and makes me shoulders go up. Good standard low height as well. Instructions were clear and to the point. Only complaint was the condition of the box when it arrived at my door. It was delivered by UPS I hope the box didn’t leave the facility like that. Looked like a lack of dogs tore into it. But luckily no damages were noticed. Inside was packed very well and everything was included in the kit. Very quiet motors rising and descending.

Have help to assemble. If you're over 6' tall, buy something else. Otherwise, excellent so far
First thing's first, let me say that this is potentially dangerous for a single person to assemble. Have a second person. This thing is incredibly heavy (which I should have known, but I guess I underestimated it). I'm 6'2 and ~200 lbs, and I had trouble moving the box as well as trouble assembling it by myself (you have to build it face down, then flip the entire thing, which is not easy with one person. I did it...someone smaller might have trouble). Still, it's a steel frame and wood top, of course it's heavy. It works great, for the most part. I should preface by saying that the advertised height is 100% correct for the regular feet, and 47.3 inches will probably be fine if you're 6' or shorter. I'm 6'2", so this is just a couple inches too short for me. Still, if you switch out the feet for the included wheels, that adds about 1.5 inches, so I tried that. Now the height is fine, but the wheels are NOT as firm as the regular feet. With wheels on (even when all 6 wheels are locked), the desk wobbles constantly, so your computer monitors will wobble as well, and I already find myself becoming nauseous. No matter your height, I recommend staying away from the wheels, and if you're taller than 6', look for a desk which goes higher (not easy to find, unfortunately). I'm considering trying furniture risers instead of wheels, but they will be difficult to put on given the need to flip the desk and it's weight (not easy to just lift up and put underneath). Also, you'll need 6 risers for this desk, and they pretty much only come in packs of 4.

Check for any damage
I purchased this desk when it was on sale. Also the org I work for offers a stipend, so I got it for a great price. I didn't open the box right away because I was moving in a few months. I did a quick look, but missed that one of the corners was broken (probably in handling as the box had some damage). Totally on me for not being more thorough. The desk works as expected. I can fit two laptops and two large monitors and still have room for coffee and my phone.

Incredibly pleased
I am so happy with this purchase. I was a little hesitant buying something this expensive in Amazon but glad I did. The only reason I gave it 3 stars for "assembly" is because you really need 2 people as it says. I set this up in my office solo. There was no damage as reported by some reviewers. It goes up and down smoothly. Love that it is "L" shaped. It's solid!
