Works great.

Had to order a second one after first one failed first use after installation. Had no packing in box and had fallen out of protective sleeve. 2nd one was in protective sleeve and had plenty of padding in box. Works great.

Design Flaw

Having to replace mine again for my GE Cafe range for the second time in two years. This is a very bad design flaw by GE that this element goes bad every two or so years. GE- Fix the issue! Especially for such an expensive range.

Works, but for less than a year.

The only reason I'm not giving this 1 star is that the product actually works. It just doesn't work for very long. It's the same as the one that originally came with our GE Cafe oven. We thought we'd spend a little more on our oven because we thought we'd be getting a quality oven. But this little part that fails pretty quickly, makes the bottom oven worthless when the part fails. The one that came with the oven lasted about 10 months and this replacement part lasted about 10 months.

Perfect

I previously replaced the ignitor with an aftermarket unit in our GE Cafe oven. It lasted less than 2 years. this part appears to be OEM with the additional silicon insulation on the wires.

This is an extremely poor design. I have had two sent to me ...

Cheap part, that is the main igniting mechanism for a $3,500.00 top of the line GE oven. My broke within 2-years of use. GE.... This is an extremely poor design. I have had two sent to me in damaged condition. The tip of the igniter is brittle, and will break with no force applied to it. Special care should be taken when packing these items for shipping.

Worked great until it didn't.

This igniter lasted only 6 months as compared to the original, which lasted 4 years. I wonder if this is a genuine GE part?

Was surprised that I had to have a new Igniter for a GE gas stove that is only 4 yrs old. This worked fine and solved the problem.

This part not good!~

Ordered this part in July 2020 and I used my oven only 2 times and hasn't worked since. I'm going to try another part that costs half of what I paid for this one and is compatible with my GE Café lower oven.
