The Truform compression socks are just what the doctor ordered, literally!
I absolutely hate the fact that, due to a botched surgical procedure, the blood flow in my entire right leg is not as it should be. I also despise the fact that my vascular dr (whom I now will need to be a patient of for the rest of my life) has ordered me to wear a either 30-40 mmHg or 40-5mHg knee-high compression sock every day for the rest of my life, but only on my right foot/leg. That being said, I am thankful for a company like Truform’s inventory of such heavy-duty compression socks. They are very well made, & of excellent quality material. They also offer a variety of colors & styles, which gives me the opportunity to spice things up a bit with some cool designs, lol. These socks are quite difficult to put on, although I don’t consider that to be a negative comment at all. Because, given the high compression rate, any such sock would be very difficult to put on. The high quality ensures that these socks will definitely last quite a long time, which is great considering that I have to wear them for the rest of my life (which I hope will be quite awhile, as I am still a relatively young woman). I am also thankful that the surgeon’s “accidental slicing of the main vein in my right leg” means that only my right leg was affected (permanently). So, I am very thankful that these socks will last even longer since I will be able to switch out the 2 socks (a pair) regularly, & wear each of them on my right leg only.????

High Quality
I have been wearing numerous brands of compression stockings for over 30 years now that they have gotten so expensive I’ve had to try to determine a more in expensive way to purchase them. This brand that I tried is clearly high-quality most likely made in the same facility that these $59-$60 and $80 brands are Made. I can tell you this having to put these on myself and being a man the trick is to Roll them from 3 inches at the end inside out then you start rolling them up and stretching slowly with your hands up to your heel then past your ankle towards your knee. I wear a 30 to 40 compression because of blood clots that nearly took my life. Removing them is quite simple you roll them from the cuff down and just keep rolling them down and rolling them down sharp and pointy nails could damage them but they are quite durable. I highly recommend them.

Phenomenal Stockings - but - USE ONLY WITH THE RECOMMENDATION/CONSULTATION OF YOUR PHYSICIAN!
"Compression" is an UNDERSTATEMENT! I have had "rogue" swelling in my right ankle and foot for 10 years now due to an old softball-related knee injury and no matter which compression hose I have ever purchased for it, either it took DAYS UPON DAYS to help, or it did not help at all. At the advice of my Physician - WITH PROPER MEASUREMENT - she told me to TRY 30-40 mmHg stockings to see if they would help. These stockings, managed to dissipate the swelling within 10 hours where for the first time in said 10 years, both of my feet and ankles looked the same! Please remember, this mcg is at the HIGH end of compression therapy (only 40-50 mmHg and 50+ mmHg being higher) and SHOULD ONLY BE PURCHASED WITH THE RECOMMENDATION/CONSULTATION OF YOU PHYSICIAN AND WITH PROPER MEASUREMENT! You can harm yourself once you go above 25 mmHg, ESPECIALLY if you suffer from advanced peripheral obstructive arterial disease, heart failure, septic phlebitis, oozing dermatitis and advanced peripheral neuropathy. When it comes to the sizing - you MUST BE MEASURED CORRECTLY FOR THIS LEVEL OF COMPRESSION! Should I have done my own measurement or went by what I thought to be correct, I would have purchased a larger size, when, in actuality, I was only an X-Large. Incorrectly fitting compression stockings can cause a new set of health issues. Now, I am 42 years old and LUCKILY, I do not have any issues with strength in my upper body . . .because STRENGTH IS NEEDED to put these on! It takes me Five(5) minutes to get ONE on correctly (I only need for my right ankle/foot) and I cannot see how ANYONE who was older than say 50 or someone that has compromised strength in hands/arms would EVER be able to get these on without the aid of a device. Truth be told though, if they are easy to get on, then you have the wrong size (again, CORRECT MEASUREMENT IS VITAL!). If you are in need of this mmHg grade of stocking, then this is the right brand for you! The quality is awesome and I foresee them lasting a VERY LONG TIME (with proper laundry care!) . . . and the price beats any medical supply house by A LOT! If your physician has recommended/advised this grade, and you have been correctly measured, you cannot go wrong with this purchase.

Same quality and cheaper price than local medical store
My dad has been wearing the truform compression stockings for about a year. We were told by his wound care specialist that these could only be purchased at our local medical store that specializes in medical stockings. My dad has been paying over $100 for 2 pairs of these stockings every 4-6 months due to them ripping from constant use. The medical store recently bumped these stockings up to $110 for ONE PAIR! I searched for similar stockings at a cheaper price and stumbled upon truform’s Amazon page. Low and behold these stockings are only $20. We compared them to a brand new pair bought from the medical store and they are the exact same! Same product number, same box, and same quality. I will definitely be buying more!!! Thank you truform for making them affordable. In the picture, the left pair are from Amazon and the right pair are from our local medical store.

Quality dip?
This was my second time purchasing the exact same product. This time around I purchased 4 packs of stockings, but the first time I wore them, I've got 3 stockings with holes in them. The first set of 4 packs, I've been using for a month without any issues. I hope they figure out the issue.

QUALITY AND COST
I WAS DISSAPOINTED IN THAT THE SITE SAID IT WAS THE COST FOR 2 . I THOUGHT IT WAS 2 PAIR SINCE THE OTHERS WERE LISTED AS 2 PAIRS. SO PLEASE DONT BE CONFUSED. IF I HAD REALIZED THIS WHEN I ORDERED, I WOULD HAVE ORDERED THE BEIGE ONES AS THEY WERE ALMOST 20 $ CHEAPER. THATS ROUGHLY 40% DIFFERENCE. HARD TO AFFORD THESE MISTAKES, APPEAR TO BE WELL MADE THOUGH

Great Socks
I have just ordered my second pair of these compression stockings. I have to say that these are the most comfortable and effective socks I've purchased and I've tried 3 or 4 kinds now. They were very tight when I first got them but over time after working them in a little bit and getting used to them they became my favorite pair to wear especially for work where I'm on my feet or sitting for extended periods of time. Thank you!

Very hard to get on, when it's in your size
I had my doubts about the sizing since it was incredibly difficult, even with my strong male hands, to get them on the first time. They indeed did fit after some struggle. As a female you will most likely fail to get them on since they are very tight. I did finally get them on and left them on the entire day and they indeed did help squeeze blood out of my legs and foot. These can work really well to heal leg ulcers and help with circulation during long hours of office work. I think they would be much easier to use if they came with a zipper or if there was a system of inner sock and outer sock design. Also, near the top of the sock the compression isn't as good. If you don't get the sock slide on all the way and leave overlaps those overlaps will dig in painfully over time. These are worth what I paid for, for the time being. I have my doubts about the value over the long run. The sock is really thin and I'm not sure how durable this will be over time.
