Nice color and good light compression. The small size works well for Mom's size 5 1/2 feet! The other compression hose were "one size fits all" and the heel of the stocking ended up at her ankles.

Really comfy socks
I am going to say right up front, that this is my original review, but it will be copied and pasted. The reason is, I got quite a few pair of these, and my fingers, arthritic with an RA autoimmune style arthritis, are not up to typing so many identical reviews. That being said, these are GREAT socks!! Very comfortable, in the thicker or thinner type material both. I wore them (navy thinner weight pair) for a Shinedown concert. Hours sitting in one place on the hardest wood slat seats imaginable. I have the beginning of varicose veins (deeply disturbing - I. AM. OLD. ) and sitting makes my legs ache, although standing does it too. Damned if you do, damned if you don’t. These socks fit snugly and smoothly, but not uncomfortably tight. They really felt good, not cutting into leg at top and the foot was smooth and didn’t bunch or twist. The lighter weight ones are light enough to wear with flats or other snug type shoes, and look good. Not like sweat socks stuffed into ballet flats type of ugly lol. After all those hours, my hips were stiff, my bony ass was screaming, but my legs were good! They weren’t achy or heavy feeling, or feel like the sitting made my legs hurt.

SIzed Correctly and Quality Made
These add a bit of support for tired legs and work perfectly with dress slacks. They are a much better quality that average nylons and are highly run resistant. I find these to be a much better choice for everyday wear than the regular stockings I have bought to wear with slacks or inside my boots. Since they are made of a very durable material and resist runs, these should take the place of several pairs of trouser nylons; which, means they are worth the higher price. I like that they provide some fatigue relief and help anyone's circulation.

Make sure to order the correct size
I wear a size 7 shoe, and didn't notice that I should have a medium size in these. I received a "small" which is for smaller shoe sizes. You can still get them on but they don't come all the way up to your knees. They are a light compression and stay up without binding the calf exceedingly so. I still got ring marks on my calves on the top from where they ended about 3 inches below my knee, but they weren't uncomfortable. My toes didn't feel smooshed either. I only wore them a few hours however. I haven't had them long and haven't needed to wear them all day. I am wondering if they will run, like stockings do. I hope not but I will update my if there is any change at all. For summer swelling around ankles it should help.

Helps me
This product helps me so much every time I wear it while doing physical activity. It helps to keep my legs energized and helps with my leg issues (swelling). Now I can walk for longer periods of time with less discomfort. I would say the compression is not uncomfortable but I would consult a doctor because for some I could see how this product might be even more uncomfortable. Overall though this product helps my legs and my slight swelling.
