They have slipped in the quality of the baits.

I started using Gulp minnows when they first came out, and they were great. I could catch six or seven fish off of one before it got tore up. I guess Gulp realized they could sell mor of them if they were not so durable. So, they changed the compound that they are made of to a much softer material. now you are lucky to get two fish off of one before it is unusable. Very Disappointed in the new Gulp.

Great bait, crappie love it

Great bait, fish love it. This size is smaller than I expected it to be, and didn’t hold up great to fish biting. Reused a couple after putting them back in the jar, they re-absorbed sent great. Can’t wait to try the 2 1/2 inch!

Pan fish and small bass love these things.

Put these on a jig head and twitch/swim it. So much fun on an ultralight set-up!

Catches the little fish

Fun to fish on a 1/64 oz jig head and an ultra lite for blue gill and sunfish. Bass will go after it too.

I was really surprised at how well these worked. A bit delicate but they do catch panfish.

Works like nightcrawlers

Panfish and catfish tear them up, almost constant bobber action if you find a good spot like you get with worms. Not sure how they work for bigger fish yet, might have to get a bigger size

Great for fishing with young people

For catching "dock fish" i.e. small bass, perch, sunfish, etc. these artificial minnows work great. Fish hit them hard, and the bait survives to fight again - you might catch 5 fish on a single minnow! Tidy and convenient to keep in a tackle box.

Bait is awesome but the jar is awful

Awesome bait that outfishes everything else I've tried. The jar, however, is awful. It WILL leak. This has been an infamous issue with this product for years, so Berkley should really get off their butts and do something about it. I had to empty the contents into a mason jar and use that instead. I suggest buying a plastic mason jar (so it won't break in your bag) and testing it beforehand to make sure it doesn't leak, because that Gulp juice WILL make your bag smell appalling until the end of days.
